Often used for hunting and trap-shooting, the Bolt-Action Shotgun is known for it's long reach due to it's tight spread, and heavy recoil due to it's lightweight build. The simplicity and ease of production saved it from obscurity, often built as made-to-order with no common manufacturer. Though less-popular than the double-barrel, this tried-and-tested action for a rifle just as well filled the niche as one of the accurate shotguns available on the market.
