Patches location mods to the Damn Apocalypse Loot module - now updated with a core module containing my custom LLs

I am a lover of location mods; overhauls, new locations to explore, all of them. However, I often find that the loot available through mods is way too high, especially since I'm so used to the Damn Apocalypse Loot module reducing loot in all vanilla locations. Thus, I decided to patch some of my favorite mods to use the DA Loot reduction methods.

DA Loot uses levelled lists to not only reduce the amount of useful loot, but also inject a level of randomness into your gameplay. So you won't know if you're going to get a full bottle of Nuka Cola, an empty one, or even a Nuka variant. For these modified locations, where loot is often hand-placed, this may mean that things are slightly out of place - if the mod author placed a piece of molerat steak but the LL produces a squirrel on a stick, it may not fit perfectly on the plate.

What this mod does:
  • NEW - the first mod in the list is a CORE esl file titled 'angel_LocationLootLists_DA', which contains my custom LLs - this is REQUIRED for all patches, as they all contain this esl as a master. If you do not have this file, you will receive "Missing Master" error messages and the patch(es) will not be loaded.
  • Adjusts all placed consumable items to be a levelled list, which may produce a usable consumable or just trash - I have tried to keep things fairly close to the original placed item, so if there was canned food placed, you will still get canned food (or an empty can). This is accomplished by creating new LLs, which are contained in the CORE esl file.
  • Many containers will now be locked, where they used to be freely open - this will ensure that you gain more loot for opening them (and even more for higher lock levels), as per the script DA puts on containers.
  • In the case of locations which had both full and empty bottles, I have included both of these in the levelled lists, so there is a chance that the bottle on a table may be empty but one on the ground is full!
  • For locations that had placed guns, these are replaced by a levelled list, which gives a 50% chance for a broken gun

What this mod does NOT do:
  • Contain any original assets; you will need to download the appropriate mods to gain the assets. This is only a patch esp
  • Reduce junk loot in any way, outside of empty bottles as described above
  • Break precombines/previs (worldspace/cell edits are only changing the items that the original mod adds)

Current mods that have been patched:

Installation:
Install both the core and patch files with your preferred mod manager, and ensure the patch loads after both Damn Apocalypse Loot and the mod being patched.
My core file is an esl file that should load near the top of your LO - it will overwrite 3 DA LLs but otherwise only contains custom LLs that are only used in these patches.

Note: As Damn Apocalypse requires all DLC, this may mean that the patch also makes DLC required where the original location mod did not.

Thanks:
