I touched up the normal map. The textures now look more detailed and punchy in Version 2. Metal wrappings appear less flat too, and more reflective and shiny as well. See images for comparisons.
I hope you like this new version over the previous one. Let me know if you have any problems here in the comments, or directly to me. Enjoy!
I know you've mostly been doing miscellaneous items/creatures and not environmental stuff, but you've been uploading a lot of these and you said you're just running it through with AI or whatever it is, so I thought I'd ask:
I have a bunch of landscape texture overhauls that make my game look great, but there seems to be one huge eyesore that's been constantly sticking out to me, this pile of scrap here. You can even see in the screenshot how badly it meshes with the other surrounding textures.
I don't know if another mod touches this but I also don't really know how to look up one that might, other than just looking at every texture mod. But if this is something that's doable and you were open to giving it a few passes, I think it would look great-- or at least a hell of a lot better than it does now.
Anyway no worries if you don't want to, just thought I'd ask!
EDIT: For reference, it's around the mass pike tunnel I think, between there and diamond city, as well as a few other places I'm sure of but there's a heavy amount of it there. I can get the ID if you really need it
Okay, so I wasn't able to get the ID for this bit of terrain in the console as it was not selectable, but I got more screenshots and an exact location.
It's right by "Mass Pike Tunnel East" in the big alley to the left of this wooden structure when approaching it from the direction of diamond city, so from the west, I guess, shown here. Here is more of the alley, and it's sort of just all in this surrounding area. Here's a screenshot of the map.?
I have a few different overriding landscape/environment textures now, but I'm pretty sure this bit is vanilla, I mean it has to be, it's very muddy. If it's not, I might have to play with my load order but I doubt this would be a modded texture as it just looks so low res in comparison to everything else, and looks vanilla to my memory of back when I first played fallout 4 on ps4. Anyway I appreciate you taking a look!
I found the location you described. Those are indeed vanilla textures. It looks like you don't have any textures mods that override those piles of scrap. Install luxor8071's HD Texture Pack AIO and you should be good to go. It covers scrap piles, and its what I use.
Alright, thanks! I appreciate your help! Do you use other textures combined with it? Currently I am using FlaconOil's Complete Texture Project, High Resolution Texture Pack by Valius, and Vivid Fallout. I'm just wondering if these would be redundant with Luxor's, so I could save some space, if need be. Otherwise I'm fine with combining to get the perfect look.
Once I amass a reputable amount of re-textures mods, say for creatures, I'll bundle them all together in a super, duper, uber, mega, giga, ultra mod merge. But not now. Now I have fleeting amount of mods and I don't feel compelled to.

Amazing work.

Really appreciate the side by side photo comparisons.
