I've used DLDSR in a couple of other games.  I use it in F3 and FNV and combine it with in game AA and it looks great.

I don't find it works very well in F4.

With TAA still active it just fails (UI in the wrong place, and it isn't really scaling).

With TAA disabled, DLDSR works, but looks worse with more aliasing artifacts than TAA, so defeats the whole purpose.

    Good afternoon.
According to your instructions, I made the game settings, but got a strange effect, either the game goes beyond the monitor boundaries (monitor 2k+RTX 3070) or the game window is smaller than the monitor boundaries. If you leave the resolution unchanged at 2560 * 1440, then nothing changes in the game.

      You running borderless? Try fullscreen
      bMaximizeWindow=0
      bBorderless=0
      bFull Screen=1

Tried. The picture becomes unplayable, blurred, smeared.

Same issue here, no matter if I try the fullscreen or windowed settings or 1.75 or 2.25 DSR factors (same as user posted below) on a 21:9 1080p physical display. With the 2.25 DSR (3840x1620), the game window only starts where the 16:9 content with Letterboxing would start is scaled right (50% bigger than the display) and cropped at the right and the bottom. With 1.75 (3413x1440), the game gets stuck at a black screen maybe that's because of the uneven horizontal resolution?

I'm also running the Ultrawide UI interface mod.

Have since switched to TAA + ESO UI ENB + Blur Killer + Shadow Boost + Vulkan Wrapper on a 2080 - looks decent enough and keeps the GPU pretty busy while min-FPS are acceptable.

I always wanted to try out the guide to disable TAA.

But, my PC specs are: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600x, GPU - NVIDIA RTX 3070 8GB VRAM, 32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance RAM (Desktop)

My Monitor's resolution is 1080p, 1920x1080 (I hope this helps)

I just followed this guide shared here including disabling TAA, etc.  The only issue I have, is that when I use Alt + F3 to set Style 1 and set the SSRTGI, I do not get any filters shown (Quality).. I get a pop-up stating there are no filters available.  However, if I leave it on Style 1 with the SSRTGI enabled (without options) it looks very nice.

Is there a reason I am unable to get any filter options when I select SSRTGI in the Nvidia overlay?

    By the way, my pc specs are:  CPU - AMD Ryzen7 2700x (@4Gb) : GPU - Nvidia RTX2070 8Gb vram :  16Gb DDR4 RAM (Desktop)

I am using the 2880x1620 Option - while my monitor's native resolution is 1080p, 1920x1080 (if this helps)

This is in no way trying to bash anything!  I mean it looks great as it is.. I am just wondering if I did something wrong or if my hardware (monitor) doesn't fully support it.

    Thanks for the share!

Also, I run the Collective Modding - A BiRaitBec Legacy server on Discord.  If you have Discord, you may message me under the same username as here or find me on the server https://discord.gg/pF9U5FmD6w, I will gladly share images, mp4, etc via DM if there is anything further I can help you with helping me.  I assume you do not plan to chase everyone around to assist, though.  I can totally respect that if you choose not to.  Thanks again!

EDIT/Update:  I am a dunce, bud.  I was trying to force a DSR my system cannot handle.  The problem has been resolved!  Great work!

Great guide. I disagree about turning off TAA, however. TAA makes the game look _so much better_, and avoids many unsightly artifacts and flickering. The game was designed with TAA in mind, and many things will look wrong without it.

Works fine and almost no fps lost with an RTX3080 but there is one catch in my observations, you MUST reduce the shadow resolution (NO not the distance) when you use the upscale method, for some reason the shadows also get upscaled and if you are running with anything higher than 2048 it will drop your fps no matter what card you got, i had massive fps drop in places with lots of shadows when I reduced the shadow quality and resolution to 1024, they still looked great but those fps drops did not occur any longer.

That is my advise for anyone who wants to dabble with DLDSR.

Fantastic find, I lost ZERO FPS with me RTX3090 yet everything is so much more clear!

What you might expect if you have an ultrawide monitor like I do, which means I can't use this sadly. Didn't find a real fix elsewhere either.

    • Both Super Resolutions may crash using Full Screen
    • Borderless alone may provide only a smaller screen
    • Maximize alone may put part of the screen past the monitor border
    • Borderless and Maximize together may make for tiny/unreadable text

Tested various solutions I could think of to include a reset of my original NVIDIA settings, then rebooting after choosing DSR options. Was able to get into the game in Fullscreen=1 after the reboot, but as users with ultrawide probably use Truby to get their ultrawide fix, everything is stretched with DSR.

NVIDIA has these for 16:9 for sure, but 21:9 . . . none of the DSR options were proper ratio for me. Stretched thin like too little butter on toast.

works for me my resolution is set at 5160 x 2160. doesn't appear stretched. I got a 3070 paired with a 3440x1440p monitor.

Work for me to (5160 x 2160). The only glitch noted is the start sreen wallpaper not centered as is should be but UI still center (a problem with TruBy9 UltraWide I guess). In game FallUI work fine with no change.

On the other hand with a 2070 the dip performance in a wooded area is strong (oberland station) just with DSR, I don't think I'll stay long with these settings.

I experienced a bug with "NVIDIA System control panel" some time DSR only offered 16/9 and no more 21/9 resolutions.

To fix the problem and have 21/9 option again put DSR OFF and restart NVIDIA System control panel
