child raider and the horrors of the commonwealth patch please the children's head are now like hobbits but they inbreed because that the last resort of there race
Whoa! Completely missed this comment, here! Sorry, pal!
I'll look into it.
Edit: Looks like there should be no problem, unless vanilla children are messed up. Try seeing if Race Customizer fixes the issue. If it doesn't, it's likely a compatibility issue.
News Flash, pal! Oxygen is free! If you're worried about a small fraction of a percentage of our abundant supply of oxygen being consumed by yours truly, go plant a tree!
Since you can't seem to find the time to do something more productive than personally target others with criticism over what they do in their free time, I ought to have you barred from this comment section. That said, I'll be fair. You get to send me one last remark before you go. Maybe after that, you'll have more time to spend on more productive matters.
As I stated, "more productive than personally target others with criticism". Modding and hosting mods is of benefit to the people who like my mods, and the experience I gain can be applied in the future should I go ahead and make video games of my own. Thinking about it that way, it's kind of like practice for the real thing. Now it isn't a good use of time to ridicule others, especially if it is undeserved. When I freely provide my contribution that genuinely help others to have more fun in their beloved games, the harassment I get over publishing the content is most unwelcome.
Welcome to America, or at least that's where I live. We may not always agree with each other, but we all have the freedom to pursue happiness. How we go about that is different for each of us, and that's okay, just so long as we don't infringe on the liberties of others.
im trying to find a mod that fixes normal player model heads because installing nanko chan has made my player model and npcs look like bobble heads and im trying to look for a fix or normal skeleton if anybody could help it would be appreciated
The issue has nothing to do with this thread, so it'd be best if you don't reply, and make a new comment instead.
It'd probably be as simple as deleting the Skeleton that comes with the mod. This will force the race to call upon the vanilla skeleton, since there is no modded skeleton overwriting it at that point. That said, Nanako has a big head by design, and although only the head bone is modified, it may look weird on a vanilla skeleton. If you need a fix for just the vanilla NPCs having a big head, Race Customizer is always a good option. I have a patch to fix compatibility with Pip pad here.
Edit: it looks like you need a fix for normal player model. Please disregard the advice to delete the skeleton that comes with Nanako.
i don't know what the problem is, but my game is crashing at loading screens again after re-installing all the pony mods and race customizer stuff.
i am currently using furry fallout 4 from ll, in order to turn basegame and dlc npcs into furry characters.
and i redownloaded fallout equestria 4 alicorn edition, SOME of the flamerunner companion mods, the piper daring do mod, can and the pony plugin in (player is disabled, i'm using the javelin as a player plugin), and the patches needed for the armorsmith sh*t, the extended dlc mods (outcasts, bleachers, american rising, train, etc) to turn them into ponies with the occasional pony settler and raider.
but now my game is just straight up crashing at loading screens, so i deleted all of my save files to restart the game, but now i can't even start a new game.
it was working just fine until i redownloaded the pony mods and race customizer mod/patches.
Did you download any of these patches? If so, feel free to disable them, ESPECIALLY the Javelin patch. You don't need these patches if you're playing as a race that doesn't alter the skeleton, such as the Javelin. Furthermore, having both the Javelin patch and the Javelin player plugins enabled WILL crash your game. You can tell if a modded race modifies the skeleton if they list Race Customizer as a dependency. Also be sure that only one player race plugin is enabled.
Failing this, there's the tried and true method of disabling half your mod list to pinpoint the source of the problem.
i have all the patches downloaded, cause i figured i needed them for the npcs:
i have amelia curie and 88 and servitrons i have javelin player and coursers and furry fallout 4 automatically has the vulpine and lupine race built in
Try disabling all of my patches on this page. The patches only prevents NPCs from getting a big head, assuming you're playing as a race that would cause NPCs to have a big head. I'll have you know, the Javelin race does not cause NPCs to have a big head, neither do any of the races I have a patch for.
Each patch changes the race in question to call the skeleton from Race Customizer, but if the player character's race is not calling the default skeleton, the game will crash. This is why for instance I don't want you to use the Javelin patch alongside the Javelin Player plugin, as this combination will crash the game.
Disable the Javelin patch, and see if that fixes your problem.
i got rid of all the patches (and thanks to vortex being a stupid idiot, the lupine, javelin, and amelia patches are now in a group called "similar" mods or some sh*t) and the game loads up fine now.
makes me regret deleting my saves to start fresh for the umpteenth time.
In the future, you can just keep the saves around and try seeing if your setup would work for a new game. It's rarely a good idea to delete your main save without extensive testing. It's also a good idea to drop a hard save (not a quick save) from time to time in case something does break. A mod that breaks a recent save can't break an older save. The best part is even if you load an older hard save with a mod enabled that corrupted your most recent save, that older save itself will not become corrupted; just the saves created from that point onward. When it comes to preserving progress, hard saves are your friend.
You can also test each individual mod one by one as they get added using an alt character (feel free to use any console command necessary to get the mod tested). If one of the mods breaks your game, stop using it, or look for a patch.
Hope this bit of advice helps you avoid undue frustration in the future.
I hadn't really noticed the problem. I'm afraid that is beyond me, as I don't even know where to begin to address the problem. Perhaps you could see if FancyPantzzz knows anything about this?
Was hoping this was more of a general custom race fix, but then I read the description. My problem is probably extremely specific, hence why I was wanting a general fix rather than mods affecting specific custom races: Do you know of Thuggysmurf's quest mods (afaik no longer on the Nexus), specifically Depravity? One of the characters is a little girl who is technically a custom race but looks like a regular human child; problem occurs when I've tried to do a playtrough with CaN's Pony player race, which causes this character's face to mess up, since as I said she's a non-RaceCustomizer custom race. Also I think this occurs with another child character in the Fusion City Rising mod (also by Thuggysmurf) who uses the same "custom child race" and therefore has a messed up face. Since these mods are no longer on here and as far as I know the creator doesn't plan on reuploading them here anytime soon, it might be hard to fix these issues, but if you downloaded them before they were taken down, please tell me and maybe we can figure something out. Thanks.
It is not possible to have a one size fits all solution for modded races conflicting with Race Customizer Races. The player Race must always call the vanilla Skeleton Directory. Each individual custom race needs to be patched so it does not call the vanilla skeleton directory in order to avoid conflicts with Race Customizer, meaning I can only patch one at a time.
Unfortunately, I do not have either mod, so I can't make patches for either one. Even if I did, I'm not sure if it's right of me to host a patch for a mod the original author took down off of Nexus.
Hold on! It looks like both of the aforementioned mods are actually available on the site. Thought I'd see for myself if they're really gone. Looks like they're not. At least now, I can do a bit of research on these two mods, and see about making a patch.
Edit: This might come a little bit later, as I might try my hand at experiencing this collection of DLC mods, and not just God Mode my way to the problem.
Just noticed you added support for OaR like I suggested, however you've seemed to have accidentally uploaded the wrong file, it's the one for the Amelia race mod. But either way, thank you so much.
There are other races that may need a patch, the Amelia Cyber Jackal race, the Anthro Deathclaws race, the recent Cyber Anubian Jackal Javelin race and there is even a mod called "Furry Fallout 4" that adds and turns npcs into felines, canines, equines and cervids, but if it's too much work for you, don't bother doing it.
Thank you. I'll take most of these into consideration.
As for Furry Fallout 4, it's a large collection of races, and it's not even being hosted on Nexus, and that could lead to complications. In the future, I might see about possibly adding support for this, but for now, I'll just focus on these other races being hosted on Nexus.
We gonna need this for the Anime Race. Sucks the Race Customizer is broken, if you play male you have a large head and have no hands. So this will be a nice fix for it
Chances are, if Race Customizer doesn't work, it's most likely due to a mod conflict. I have another mod that patches a mod conflict between Race Customizer and Pip Pad. If you use Pip Pad, give it a try here.
It will allow you to use Pip Pad without breaking Race Customizer. If this doesn't fix your problem, another mod is causing a conflict. I did a bit of testing, and Pip Pad was the only conflict in my Mod List. Let me know of other mod conflicts with Race Customizer if you find any.
