      it depends on what you are doing or how many weapons' you are making a patch for but ide say it takes about 3-5 min to do in fallout 4 Edit

      sounds like a good plan i hope it works for those mods as well i see no reason for it not working since its a one handed weapon

       A little surprise from a old post!
       Search for 'thermal katana', the original mod was taken down by author from Nexus, I got mine from a site called banana or whatever it is

   is the sound baked into the animation? its weird getting the katana sound.

   Very very awesome, but I'm getting standard katana sounds in first person with the cross laser sword. Is there any way to restore the more "lightsaber" sounds in first person that were in the original mod? They still play in 3rd person correctly

   This is pretty neat. Would you consider releasing similar patches to put these animations on some of the swords in the base game? Like the Shishkebab, Assaultron Sword, Chinese Officer's Blade, Revolutionary Sword, etc.
