Mod Organizer 2
Keep the current mod installation (so just dont delete it)
Download and install the new download to the same name you choosen before. Dont check 'MCM settings file' option in FOMOD.
Press 'Merge' in the last confirm box to keep your settings file (including your HUD layout).
Vortex Vortex seems to have troubles when updating the mod. So it is the best to do a uninstall and then a fresh new install (solution 1). The user ExcerptNovela have posted an excellent in-Vortex-solution you can find as solution 2. Just choose the one you find most comfortable. (The exact reason for the problems is still unknown. If some Vortex user knows more, please let me know it)

If you want to keep your HUD layout backup your settings file: "data\MCM\Settings\FallUIHUD.ini" (Just copy it to anywhere, like your desktop)
Deinstall the old mod version completely
Install the new mod version
Put your settings file with your HUD layout back to the mod. (or to its own new mod, so you can skip this step for further updates)

I have a minor problem with my workshop interface, the tooltip in the bottom doesn't disappear when I move a settler which means that it overlaps with the confirmation box:

Disabling the mod solves the problem, any idea how I could fix this since I definitely want to keep this amazing mod.
Does anyone know what could be causing the "E) Talk" to be greyed out? The buttons still work its just very distracting. Ive narrowed it down to this single mod and couldn't see any other comments talking about it
Mod works great out of the box, alongside the rest of the basic FallUI mods. My only issue is that loose boxes of ammo in the world don't have an icon when scavenging. Caps, bottles, armor, guns, all the rest is showing up as intended. Is this something I need to tweak in mcm somewhere? I literally only have the FallUI package installed (Icon Library, HUD, Inventory, Map, Workbench, Sleep/Wait, Confirm Boxes). The missing ammo icon when scrounging is the only thing not showing up, as far as I can tell.
It's worth noting that loose single bullets still have the icon. I'm guessing it's boxes of ammo that's the issue?
EDIT: It seems to be fixed after switching to the Pro version of FallUI Inventory Sorter and using it alongside the Complex Sorter.
I have tags like Tyre [Resource]Rubber{{{Rubber}}} , but no icons in the workshop scrap item window, not sure why as everything else seems to have icons ok - I have read through the FAQs and done some googling, but no luck finding the cause.
Not sure if this is the same thing or not, but I do have icons for items with components ok e.g. Fuse has a bag icon and it has its components (copper and glass) listed below as expected.
I have installed the old item sorter (coz I wanted weightless junk and couldn't figure out how to use complex sorter) with the adapter for the new FallUI icon library and then the FallUI Icon Library, Inventory and HUD and everything else looks fine except for workshop the scrap items window, can't figure out why - can anyone help?
The FallUI mods work fine without MCM (and by extension, F4SE), but you won't be able to change anything. Stock FallUI is all you can use since settings are all done through MCM.
So... Idk what I did. I got the mod to work for about 5 minutes, did some tweaking with another mod, reloaded to get all my UI set juuuust right and WHAM! I now have no HUD, no looting pane, no nothing... I've tried starting a new game, uninstalling and reinstalling mods and to no avail. anyone got any idea on what I might be able to do to fix this?
