OPTIONAL file - the Pip-Boy Linked Fix - just updated again. Resolves any silliness or broken messages you might have gotten while using it. And tested to make sure it applies rank skins when it should.
Also includes the source code, and greatly improved logging. Checks on game load, and when you advance a BoS quest that could result in a rank change. (It uses its own userlog, not the main Papyrus log - see Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Logs\Script\User\BoS_PipBoys.* )

There were a LOT more plasma-fications of lasers than I first realized, so I'll be fixing that. No more green crit effects from red lasers :P
After pondering much and more, I'm going to do two things with the BLR: 1) downtune it in the main mod so it isn't quite so OP, then 2) make an alternate version with it removed entirely
For the version WITH the BLR, redoing all its mods to be consistent, have meaningful descriptions, good but not OP stats, etc.
Making a thorough pass thru the mod for all lore-bending changes and other weirdness i may have missed
I can't deal with the majority of the clothing textures any more lol. The Power Armor looks good and has believable, but not excessive, wear and dirt and rust and some varied tones; but for some reason, the Fatigues and Field Scribe Uniform etc all look like they were spray-painted. Two flat colors, NO variation, no detail, bizarre. Then there's the other Scribe outfits that just look like they fell into a tar pit: everything flood-filled flat black, no detail, can barely even see the red logos on the arms. I can only guess the author was just burned out from making new assets at that point lol
SO, I will be editing all the texures I can find the time to do, to bring them up to a more professional level, adding back material detail, buckles, rivets, buttons, straps etc. and adding the slight defects, wear and color variations that make things look realistic.
This last part is gonna take a while, because i've had health issues the last few years and am rusty besides, but it will happen. Most likely i will post updates with the simplest changes first so y'all don't have to wait on them.
Hi, Im wondering how i can go about removing the green hit affects that are applied to the red laser BOS is using as well as the Green goo blood that is left over from ghouls? thanks!
The original used to be one of my long-time favorites. With the exception of infrequent crashes, I reminisce fondly about it. There is just something about the grey and red that no other BOS faction mod has quite matched yet.
Am I correct in assuming that it should play nice with Improved Brotherhood of Steel if I gave your mod priority over textures, omods and decals ? xEDIT didn't show me anything worrying, but I prefer to ask.
My brother in Christ, you would be both a gentleman and a scholar if you could apply this awesome T60 BoS skin to the other power armors in the game. Especially the T51b and the new Enclave armors added in the NGU. Or maybe point me to someone who has done something similar top this mod?
That's gonna be what we call a "stretch goal." Different meshes cannot use the same skin lol, i would have to create new ones for any armor that is not the Vanilla T-60 mesh. Mazel Tov!
I hope this isn't a dumb question, but how badly am I gonna conflict with the BOS module for Power Armor To The People? My HOPE is that this will retex any vanilla armors the BoS has, but that I will still get the neat additions from PATTP, but I'm no rocket surgeon.
i'm not really here for this specific mod but if anyone knows of a different patch that can just debuff the insanely strong brotherhood with ad victoriam thatd be amazing
I'm missing hand textures, when i wear the the BOS uniform found at the police station, just wondering if anyone has advice? "hands disappear when wearing"
