If you forgot to disable alternative fire mode before modifying the X12 on weapon workbench and something went wrong: - Try to enable/disable alternative fire mode. Should fix most cases; - If that didn't help (which is unlikely) - go to weapon workbench (make sure alternative fire is disabled this time) and change receiver and barrel back and forth, then try enabling/disabling alternative fire again; - If none of the above helps - let me know here in the comments (it would help a lot if you'll also describe the circumstances).
If you installed the mod but can't see the weapon anywhere and didn't get the leveled list selection menu: Make sure your game is up to date! If your game is outdated - it won't be able to read the .esp in the first place.

Once again making all other Weapon Mods obsolete for me. I am currently using only your weapon mods for me while giving others Modern Fire Arms because they can oneshot me with that. Sadly the hotkey to modify the sight for the Plasmacaster doesnt seem to do anything no matter if its the alt variant or not which is a bit sad as it looks really cool. If anyone can help me fix that i would appreciate it.
So Kudos man love your work and i love the fact that these 5 to 6 year old mods are still working without any hiccups for the most part.
Edit: Oh and the overcharge underbarrel thing doesnt work either it keeps asking for the X12 which is funny.
Seems like you're using a replacer of some kind. Hotkey functionality only works for the base mod X12 unique ID, if it comes from another mod it has different ID and the script can't recognize it.
Hmm weird. I am using MCM and hotkeys and things, but i went and made two of the controller objects and had no issues - what's happening when you try it?
Just wanna say this is still my 'Go to', mid-late game choice for energy weapons. Usually it takes the place of whatever assault rifle I use. This and the laser variants of the G11 rifle. I like to use the 'duplicateallitems' command and issue them to my 'elite' settlement guards among other weapons. Only thing is, I wouldn't mind some material swap mods for it to change colors or themes. Anyway, awesome mod, love it
Sorry for the late reply, damn I dont know how I missed the skin packs in the optional lol. Just DL'ed. Again, awesome mod. I've made some personal modifications to this, like replacing the firing sound with the Doom Eternal plasma gun, using the 'Beefier Weapon Sound' mod and upped the rate of fire a bit. It is badass and will always be my 'go-to' late game weapon and tend to give to my settlement 'Elite Guards', haha
Can this mod be used without the soft requirements? I have learnt that F4SE doesn't play well with next gen update and both the soft requirements are F4SE dependent. SO Can I use this mod without those soft requirements or is it compulsory? What will be difference between using and not using the soft reuirements?
Really a great mod, I love it. What I'm missing is the ability to carry the weapon on the back, visibly. Is there a way to do that, perhaps with a backpack?
