Description
This mod makes changes to the quest objectives text on your Pipboy. More details have been added and removed, destinations are now easier to find.
Inspired by EBQO - Even Better Quest Objectives for Skyrim and Improved Quest Objectives - IQO for Fallout New Vegas
What does this mod do?
> Adds more detail to quest text so you can find your destination without the use of quest markers
> Adds missing words, spelling mistakes, and other grammar issues
> Capitalization tweaks (some left as is and also added more details)
- BEFORE: Locate Person at the Place
- AFTER: Locate person at the place, southeast of other place
(words that need to be capitalized are left as is)
> Consistency tweaks (Vanilla was all over the place when it came to wording choices. I made it so most quests will use one wording type. Some have been left as is, but most have been changed)
- Changes "OPTIONAL:", "[Optional]", "Optional:", "Optional -" or anything similar to "(Optional)".
- Changes "Tell..." to "Inform...". For example, instead of saying "Tell soso blah blah blah", it would be "Inform soso blah blah blah"
- Changes "Talk to..." and "Speak with..." to "Speak to"
- Changes "Find..." to "Locate..."
- Changes "Go to..." to "Head over to..."
- Changes "Doctor" to "Dr." and other similar wording changes
Examples
I went through almost all of the main game and DLCs quests and changed the text to more detailed ones. Some quests I did not change due to the fact it did not need it. Here are some example changes showing the before (red) and after (green):
Talk to xx > Speak to xx about yy
Find Information About xx > Find information about your xx, *more details added*
Proceed to xx > Proceed to xx, southeast of yy, with character
Return to xx > Return to xx and inform him/her about yy
Get xx > Acquire the xx from yy, directly east of zz
Grab xx > Grab the xx at *place* and *more details added*
Go to xx > Head to the xx, northwest of yy
