    The update 3.0.9c is now available and has been released on the 19th of June 2022.

    This mod is the product of more than 5 years of intense work and continued improvements, so if you like it, don't forget to endorse, it is a small thing, but it's nice.

    If you have a question, read this article first, it probably contains the answers you seek.

    I know there is a awful lot of text to read, and believe me, I made my best to cut off the length, so I'll be lenient on that, but at least, read the aforementioned article, and try to read the latests patchnotes.

    Announcement: I am planning on rewriting large parts of the mod. Over the past few years, I have become more fluent in English and some grammatical, syntax, typo, etc, errors, have become glaringly obvious to my eyes, and so, because I cannot remain inactive now that I noticed this, I must fix the issue so as to provide an even better experience to those who use my mod.

    I also have a few things planned for new/overhauled perks, so it won't only be a translation update.

    As for the release date, considering I always work on the French version first, and then replicate the changes on the English version, I cannot provide any date as of now.

      No, I have removed them in a previous update due to an unknown bug destroying large parts of the file and forcing me to use backups to remake those parts. I took the decision to remove the superbosses then because I deemed it was a low quality addition to the game and wanted to rework this at a later date.

    Can you fix the bugs that ricochet has since the other fixes I use for it dont work with this mod. Ricochet is still bugged and barely procs.

    Hello,

    this is one of the perk overhauls that I'm willing to give a try on my next FO4 run (hoping that the new English update will be out by then). It looks like a lot of fun. Should I assume that the mod isn't compatible with Power Armor overhauls which heavily depend on vanilla perks, like this one ?

    Thank you for sharing your creations with us. They're all pretty unique, and I'm already fan of several of your mods.

      Hi, thanks for your support. Indeed, this mod most likely won't be compatible with my mod, as it significantely modifies Power Armor related perks, and adds a brand new one solely dedicated to repairing and producing them, with a new workbench and lots of others features.

      As for the new english update, I must admit I have barely worked on it since the announcement, life have gotten in the way and I had to put this in the backburner.
      I'll try going back at it as soon as I can, in the meantime, feel free to use it anyway, I guarantee you an exciting experience

      Thank you for your reassurances. I will give this mod a try in my next run.

      I think smoothing out the translation remains a good idea however, just because it's always a bit jarring to players (at least to me) having to switch between different levels of English inside a game. I hope you know I don't mean any offence. It's the same with introducing a sentence in a heavy Scottish, Irish or American accent for example, and finishing it with posh London gentry English. There is nothing wrong with it, the game remains entirely playable and enjoyable, it's just unnecessarily distracting.

      I just think it would help with the popularity of your mod, which looks very good to me, but there is no rush to get it done of course. Whenever you feel like it.

      I don't see why it wouldn't, it doesn't require any external script to function.

    This mod makes the game more fun. while other perk overhauls make it more grindy. I just came here to say thanks, this is one of my favorite mods.

      Happy you enjoy it ! I am planning an update that will fix, I hope, most, if not all of the grammatical and syntax error so it is even better.

    Hi! I loved this mod for long time and still do but there is a "little" problem, the new or renamed perk "Engineer" not works properly for me, I was been deactivating 1 per 1 all my mods until just had all the official DLC(7? the GOTY + Texture pack) and this mod and still not works, it appears with 3 levels (not 4) and just lets select the last level when you are 52, im using mod organizer 2 and checked several times the mod list ingame and with the organizer, used on previous saved games and starting a new game as well, always having the same issue.

    I can still play without use that perk like if not exist, not a big deal but... wanted to say just in case someone else is with the same problem, or if really is a problem or just me missing something.

    EDIT: I tried the previous version 3.0.9b and on this one the perk works

      Update: I have looked into it, and indeed there were was a small issue in the perk tree that prevented the Rank 4 to be acquired, but it is now fixed. I will check if I find others problems elsewhere and then I will push an update soon.

    I got the Disintegrator from 111 and I think it comes from your mod.  I found out when I was in Sanctuary Id accidently left a joke mod on so the bloat flies were firing missles.  In the panic and the screaming I think I clipped Cogsworth and the poor guy just keeps exploding and waking back up every minute or so :P

    so i have been using this mod for a few weeks, and i noticed there are no perk trees for your lock picking skill. i looked in every perk chain a few times and am i just stupid and i'm not seeing it? or is it not there?

      Lockpicking and hacking are now on a new system of progression: you become better at it the more you do it, there is documentation explaining it in the articles of this mod, in documents you can obtain in the game, and it is also explained in some loading screens.

      oh ok, now that makes sense, you know i was looking for a mod that would do just that the other day, but as i think they had that kind of progression done right in skyrim, FO4 doesn't really make sense in this way where you have to upgrade perks in order to do these things, i was looking for a perk overhaul that would do this very same thing to all of the skill trees.

      so you start out with the most basic skills of the tree but as you use these skills, you progress your skills and then choose the perks along with it, is it not possible for FO4 to have this kind of progression system for every perk tree or something?

      because it would be nice to have the ability to pick a lock regardless the lock difficulty, but it would be harder to pick and not just deny you the ability to pick the lock simply because it outranks you, i guess something would have to make the hacking harder like adding more words to the scrambled hacking or something to make it harder and more random to properly work right in that system.

      well at least you know if it would work or not, thanks for the reply, this also makes me wonder about another gameplay thing in FO4, so the melee combat system is very limited in this game, it made me wonder if a modder could take assets from another bethesda game, say skyrim and take the melee from that game and port it into FO4 to function more like it did in skyrim, so you can have both a functioning shield in your left hand and a melee weapon in your right hand, because the way it works in FO4 your left hand is utterly useless, there is no use for it at all.

      it would be great if the player could take advantage of both as it functioned so well in skyrim, i have seen modders for skyrim flip assets used in FO4 to be used in skyrim, like the vault door opening and closing sequence was added to a dwemer mod that i saw, but i want to know if this could also work to fix the combat for the melee aspects in FO4? 

      or is this also a hard coded thing that is impossible to fix in this game?

    I dont suppose you can remove the flashing idiot savant picture?  Whenever I have a decently large fight it hangs out for a very long time constantly triggering. 

    Im really enjoying your perks btw.  :)

      If you have this appearing, then you have a conflict with another mod, as removing this pop-up was one of the very first things I did when changing this perk, several years ago.
