I suspect that the real goal of this Legendary Mod was to reduce the rate, at which the Fusion Core is drained. Why do I think that? First what I talked about in the description, that the magic effect has certain Actor Values. And second, there are other PA mods which can help with AP refresh. And there is also the Action Boy/Girl perk. It makes sense, that surrounding radiation can be used and transformed into energy, to help out the job of the Fusion Core. But that's just a theory. Regardless of what the truth is, you have a choice how this effect will work.
The 1st variation of this mod has been implemented in the UFO4P v2.1.6, so if you have at least that version of it you don't need this mod.
Me, I need it because I don't want to update to the latest version of the game so I'm stuck with version 2.1.4 which doesn't have this fix. So @robotized thank you for making it.
P.S. by the way I too agree that it makes more sense to make fusion cores last longer than to restore APs quicker, but I'm somewhat of an """originalist""" about games so I'm still gonna go with variation 1 >_> I also need AP more than extra fusion cores fuel, soooo... :P
Like I said, you have a choice how this effect will work ;) . I don't want to update either. Bethesda's files are a mess and they continue to make more mess. Now, instead of focusing on adding improvements and new stuff, the modding community has to waste time and effort to clean up after their pathetic next gen wannabe update.
I did the tests more than two years ago. I remember I couldn't find any difference with or without the Piezonucleic PA Chest piece equipped(not even for the fusion core). Yes, I think it's completely useless in the vanilla game.
Dumb question, is the AP refresh rate based off the players radiation level, or is it based on the rate that the player char is taking Radiation damage?
Can I assume that the AP refresh effect will be cumulative with that of the action boy perk? Or will they be redundant and one or the other not applied? Thanks.
Something this small should probably be an ESL. It's very easy to convert an esp to an esl of course :) You just go into the Creation Kit, load the mod you want to convert (set as active file) and then click on the option from the drop down menu in the top left.
Thanks for the info, but I kinda know this already. And the plugins do have ESL flag. The esp won't take a normal load order slot. I guess it is possible to rename it to .esl if you want.
