Just to confirm here, after testing Tyrdal's Better Goodneighbor & Scavengers Apartment Patch, it also works with this Apartment - I've added a pic in their patch's user images to show how they look together. Basically it removes Better Goodneighbor's trash partially blocking the door. Enjoy.
Likely the best player home mod out there, although it would be nice to be able to send a companion there, I'll have to take a look at the mod which sends a companion to home plate and see what I may do with that.
I really like this playhouse! Its the perfect size feeling not to big or small. Plenty of space for something to feel homey. That said, it does feel really dark, and workshop lights in my experience are kinda bleh.
Probably, but pedantic. "Apartment" just means "a separate living space" and not all apartments are single storey. This one has the outward facade of a townhouse but so did a maisonette apartment my late father owned - you'd have to know building blueprints and, for example, whether it's a truly independent structure from the wharehouses next to it - and you don't because it's just a game.
Such a good mod. I have used this a few times. I love that it is not too big, but not cramped either. Thank you for making this.
How did you make this an interior that you can fast travel into and out of? Is that something that can be done in FO4Edit? If I add a certain flag or something to an interior player home that does not have fast travel into or out of?
Thank you for the information. Am I correct that I would have to use creation kit to place a fast travel point inside the interior I want to make fast travelable? I have never used the Creation Kit to do much of anything. Seems daunting. I have heard of so many stories where people screwed things up by somehow accidentally touching some cell or something that they didn't even mess with and broke precombines and all sorts of things. Cause all sorts of problems if you don't know exactly what you're doing.
when do you want to add the feature? i dont want to be impacient, but entering goodneighbor every single time when you want to fast travel away gets really annoying.
Fun fact: it seems like this flag is named exactly the wrong way round in xEdit. I was wondering whenever you have some mod conflict or whatever. Anyway, will upload now
Could you create a version that connects it up to another settlement? Like this mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19641 ?
This doesn't turn it into a full settlement but it creates a hidden supply line between Homeplate & Hangman'sm Alley and just makes building there a lot easier
EDIT: and also if you were to lock the doors then added a purchasable key from Daisy for about 2000 caps that would also make this mod a lot better
It would be kinda more immersive with it being purchasable.... a terminal outside that just gives some small backstory and a menu to pay 2000 would be kinda cool.
but still,, it's a really wellmade mod, I really enjoy it! thanks for the effort for this!

And no, I'm not planning on doing anything like that. I just wanted to make a lightweight mod, which touches as few things as possible.
