    Sticky
This will after some time be included in the combined mod
  2. I am hoping that some day, someone will make this mod or grounded have the blocks blend together without that very top portion on each block. Does that make sense? with this mod and grounded, you can see where one ends and where another begins

Sadly there are only mods out there that at Blocks with a Texture... without real gras/dirt to be plant something on it... and without Sound its a bit immersion breaking walk on a grass texture but hear concrete sound xD

If they aren't navmeshed then could I potentially use this like an invisible wall to keep attackers away? (I haven't tested this mod yet, but I am curious about the application. )

I wish there were a mod that that used a sprayer type tool to spray grass, gravel or what texture you want on existing ground.
Can the ground be planted? Like if used in a green house.

the "ground" terrain does not allow you to plant on them, you can place a planter on it, but that kinda defeats the whole idea. i also wish there was a 'Dirt" block for making even ground for farming/building that was also plant able.

What is the difference between this and the mod called ground.

The ground mod has rectangle and angled pieces and are nevmished, and I seen settlers walk on the ground and square blocks

Was going to ask if Zorkaz's mod is navmeshed because some items from "Ground" aren't properly done. At least, my settlers refuse to walk on some of the blocks.

They use the rectangle garden block when I plant on them and they use the road texture blocks too

This is the Ground by wim95 I use, not to be confused with the grounded mod by Sarinia , which does have nevmesh issues

I use Ground by wim95 and have not seen any problems with the navmesh so far in 12 months of use.

I don't navmeshed them but used the workshop floor as a base so it should work.

Love this kind of mod. But with no sloped blocks, this is sadly highly non-settler friendly. Been using a mod called "Ground" so far which has all kinds of different shapes for corners and such, but I'm heving problems with navmeshing on a few of the variations. I'll check this mod for navmeshing and to see if items from this one can be snapped to items from "Ground".

Any thoughts for a few different shapes other than a cube? Slope, corner (triangle), sphere maybe?

Did you adjust the "impact" data to match the material?

As in, does jumping on the grass going to sound like jumping on a hollow wooden floor, or shooting grass going to spawn wooden splinters?

Just asking, because some mods don't touch those settings, and it drives me insane when concrete sounds like wood. xP

    Thanks!

      Just a material change.
      Haven't tested the sounds out

The material being referenced in this case is in the collision data and has to be changed with the official plugin for 3ds max 2013 specifically which not everyone has or knows how to use. This is why some mods don't alter the collision data. I know in the case of Grounded the mod was specifically designed to be PS4 friendly which means no external assets are allowed (such as meshes with updated collision). That's why Sarinia didn't modify that information.
