Digital Nightmare (music) Dark soundtrack with this dark textures, perfect match. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14449 Recommended with headphones and dark game room lighting.
Sorry if the answer to my question is posted elsewhere. I honestly tried to look around. What's the difference between 1.1 and 2.0? Just the resolution?
The difference is the resolution. Version 1.1 is mostly 1k (like vanilla) and version 2 is mostly 4k.
But version 2 is redone from scratch. I tried to mantain same look but inevitably it's a bit different. Anyway I have taken the opportunity to improve several things on version 2. For example, colors are generally softer, details as the black-yellow stripes are better integrated and I have replaced the wall "normal map" to remove the wood texture.
Vault 111 looks baaaaaaad. And not in a good way., very different from the screenshots. My family was disappointed and they exiled me from social media even tho I uninstalled it. I wish you well.
This mod look like a fallout 3 vault, looks good there was one thing I saw outside on top of the vault when I was looking at the textures. The round pipes are very black they do stick out a bit with the rest of the texture there's a user screenshot on here that shows this.
Go to Male Addon files: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9717?tab=files Manually download "Slooty Vault Jumpsuit Zipped Male". Open this file, and go to: Meshes\DixiePig\slootSuit You need the file "SlootyVaultSuitM.nif" Now go to game folder, and go to: Data\Meshes\Clothes\Vault111Suit Extract the file here, and rename it to "Vault111Suit.nif"
3. Creating male material files:
Go to game folder, and go to: Data\Materials\VaultSuit Copy these files: SlootReplacer.BGSM SlootReplacerBelts.BGSM combatBoots.bgsm Now go to folder: Data\Materials Create here a new folder named "DixiePig", and create a subfolder named "slootSuit". Paste the 3 files here, and rename them this way: SlootReplacer.BGSM, renamed to: slootSuit.BGSM SlootReplacerBelts.BGSM, renamed to: slootSuitBelts.BGSM (No need to rename boots material file)
(This way, the male model uses same textures as the female model)
4. Installing Prudy textures:
Go to Prudy Jumpsuit: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15391 Manually download this mod. Open this file, and go to: Data\Textures\Elianora\Prudy Suit Here you need these files: combatboots_d.dds combatboots_n.dds combatboots_s.dds slootSuitBlack_d.dds slootSuitBlack_n.dds slootSuitBlack_s.dds Now go to game folder, and go to: Data\Textures\Clothes\VaultSuit Extract the 6 files here and rename them this way: slootSuitBlack_d.dds, renamed to: VaultSuitF_d.dds slootSuitBlack_n.dds, renamed to: VaultSuitF_n.dds slootSuitBlack_s.dds, renamed to: VaultSuitF_s.dds (No need to rename boots texture files) (You have to overwrite the files in this folder)
DONE!
If at any time you want to change the textures, you just have to replace textures in Data\Textures\Clothes\VaultSuit.
There are many compatible textures here on Nexus, so there are quite a few options to choose from.
Depends on the amount of loose textures you have installed, also on the size of the mod. And your rig plays a part on the performance hit as well.
A lot of authors recommend packing textures in BA2 files, but mostly large textures packs, if a mod is small in size (less then 1 or 2 MB) they recommend otherwise to save a BA2 slot, since the engine has an "unknown" limit amount to how many BA2 files it can load into the game.
One more thing to add, loose files always wins conflicts over BA2s, whatever load order you place them in.
Mostly, i know what u said, but anyway, just wondering what i asked. Im with heavy modded game so i'd like to save as much ba2 slots as i can, but anyway thanks for your reply <3
Your mod made me anxious and nervous, and I haven't felt that since vault 101 and the infamous vault 22 you completely nailed the sinister nature of vault tec thank you for this mod seriously.
After installing this and descending back into Vault 111, it's like I'm playing a totally new game. Fantastic! Totally love the grim atmosphere. Pairs really well with mods that darken interiors and a flashlight. Using this with Shadow of the Commonwealth ENB, which also makes this looks pretty dark and grim. Many thanks for this!
Recently downloaded a modlist with 700+ mods and haven't left a comment on any of the mods. But this mod is just so gorgeous that i felt obligated to endorse and praise your work. Not to say that those mods are bad or anything but this is just amazing. Thanks again for your great work.

About files:
BA2 packaged files have better performance than loose files. BA2 packaged files require to activate plugin in your load order.
Version 2.0 have most files in 4k resolution. If you worry about your performance limits, you can use the previous version of this mod (version 1.1).
Screenshots are welcome!

I held back on this plugin quite long because I did not realize it covers the textures for all the additional vault build mods I have in my load order. I thought some of them at least would still look vanilla, but nope: works like a charm for every single one.
So, for the next reader like me: Additionally to Settlement Objects Expansion Pack I tried out all the pieces at least for the following plugins:
Vault 88 'More Room Items'
Even More Vault Corners
Vault 88 Room Corners Plus
Vault 88 - More Vault Rooms
->They all look great. none of them bypasses these new textures.
...btw: probably also fits nicely to Rusty Workshop Vault Furniture
I stick this post for comments about mods that use this textures
