Starlight Airfield is an important civilian and military transportation hub in the Republic. It acts as a refueling station and a cargo storage for the vertibirds in the Northern Commonwealth Territories, as far as Bunkertown and all the way down to the borders of Old Boston. Refurbished tanks and APCs are frequently seen here, in addition to numerous caravans. Exhausted merchants and soldiers on leave can enjoy the local bar and relax. The base is extremely fortified and well defended, with its own emergency water purifiers and hydroponics and onsite medical facilities.
