The goal of this mod is to enhance the various NPCs you see and work with around the game, while maintaining a lore-friendly and vanilla-like appearance.
NPCS CURRENTLY EDITED BY THIS MOD:
Scarlett / Travis Miles / Irma / Geneva / Magnolia / Justin Ayo / Allie Filmore / Alana Secord / Scribe Haylen / Doctor Amari / Eve / Arthur Maxson / Rowdy / Roxy / Chase (Far Harbor) / Grand Zealot Richter (Far Harbor) / Zwicky / Gwen McNamara / Desdemona / Arturo Rodriguez / Darcy Pembroke / Paul Pembroke / Henry Cooke / Anne Hargrave / Myrna / Jun Long / Marcy Long / Danny Sullivan / Liam Binet / Alan Binet / Fahrenheit / Katy / Alexis Combes / Doctor Carrington / Drummer Boy / Glory / Tina De Luca / Bobby De Luca / Scara / Duff / Colette Cooke / Bluejay / Zeke / Emogene Cabot / Jack Cabot / Knight Rhys / Amelia Stockton / The Mechanist
TO DO LIST: Cricket / Johnny D. / ... [Once I finish these I will add more]
WILL NOT ADD: Companions (I am planning a different mod for overhauling companion appearance) / Mama Murphy / Ghouls / Mutants (out of my depth) / Kellogg / Characters with no associated quests/dialogue/background. Basically I won't edit an NPC that just walks around.
BROWN FACE BUG: If you encounter the brown face bug in your playthrough, it is not because of this mod. The brown face bug is a texture bug, and it occurs when the size of textures (like mods or the Hi-Res DLC) are too small to match up with each other. This should be fixable by simply resizing the .dds files in that mod to a larger size. Because of the way some mod authors have their permissions set, one would have to do this on their own because patching the original mod and sharing it is not allowed by the mod author.
Any face texture mods, makeup mods, tattoos, etc that are 1024x1024 might cause this issue. There are a lot of very good mods on this site that are, unfortunately, under that criteria. That is not to say that these mods are unusable, only that they can cause issues if running on a higher face texture resolution than 1024x2024. If you are running under that resolution, those mods should work fine.
Please use Nexus Mod Manager or Vortex to install and uninstall, as that is the easiest option. If you prefer to install manually, then drop the files into your Fallout 4/Data file and activate them as you please. Remove them to uninstall.
