About this mod
A ring that provides many crafting perks - at a price ...
- Permissions and credits
- Changelogs
For those times when you want to spend your valuable perk points on something besides crafting skills!
Functions
This ring will grant you the following perks while it is equipped:
- Armorer 1,2,3,4
- Blacksmith 1,2,3
- Chemist 1,2,3,4
- Demolition Expert 1,2,3,4
- Gun Nut 1,2,3,4
- Local Leader 1,2
- Medic 1,2,3,4
- Nuclear Physicist 1,2,3
- Robotics Expert 1,2,3
- Science 1,2,3,4
- Scrounger 1,2,3,4
In effect, wearing this will allow you to place all of the workbenches provided by Armorsmith Extended and Crafting Mastery, and should enable you to create all items(*) available on those workbenches.
WARNING: As we all know, all magic comes at a price. While you are wearing it, an unearthly heat effect will slowly eat away at your health (you'll see the flame effect around you). Use the ring only when necessary, and don't wear it too long!
(*) An exception would be any items which require the Scrapper perk, which is not changed by the ring (so as not to create a dependency on Far Harbor DLC). You'll need to use your own perk points for that.
Requirements
None, just the base game.
Usage
To find the ring, go inside the Mole Rat Den behind the Red Rocket Truck Stop, and look for a radioactive junked engine with a Fusion Core lying in front of it. The ring will be on the ground just next to the Fusion Core.
You can equip the ring like any other piece of clothing or armor. Note: you may or may not be able to equip/unequip the ring with an Outfit Switcher hotkey - if that happens, just equip/unequip it manually, through the Inventory of your Pip-Boy.
Compatibility
No known mod conflicts so far. However, combining this mod with any mods that redefine or extend any of the base game's crafting skills is not recommended and may have unexpected effects.
Installation
Use your preferred mod manager.
Uninstallation
Before uninstalling the mod from your game, unequip the ring, save your game, and then exit. Then go ahead and remove the mod normally using your preferred mod manager.
