Thank you for visiting Atomic Wasteland, a ReShade preset that aims to add more vibrance to the wasteland. As of first playing Fallout 4, I've always felt that the graphics of the game were washed out and hazy. This mod aims to fix this issue by increasing certain aspects of colouring, while also sharpening the image.
Atomic Vibrance changes the standard colours of Fallout 4 and removes the green hue of the vanilla game. With doing this, contrast is greatly increased and colours 'pop' more.
To remove the washed out look of the normal graphics, Atomic Vibrance combines the color correction with a subtle sharpening effect. With sharpening, textures and distant objects appear a lot more crisp without being overdone.
The standard Atomic Vibrance comes with ENB depth of field. This effect adds more depth to your game, with blurring distant objects and focusing on the object you are looking at. Especially recommended for cinematic screenshots.
Depth of Field can be disabled with F6. If you do not want the effect at all, you can download the 'No DoF' version of Atomic Vibrance.
Ambient Lighting looks at bright light sources in the game applies a bloom effect to it to make them appear more bright. This effect can make the total image look more realistic, at the cost of performance. Colors also appear less vibrant because of this effect.
This effect is disabled from default, because of the effect it has on the vibrance and performance. It can be turned on by pressing F4.
