With the new version of Subway Runner that's being worked on, is there any chance in the future for a patch for your version of Lechmere and SR's version of Lechmere?
I gained the Lechmere Station settlement, am at level 83, and the Machinegun and Heavy Machinegun turrets you build at the settlement are only Mk 1. Usually the further a settlement is from Sanctuary the higher level of turrets you can build. At Graygarden for example you can build Mk 3 Machinegun turrets. (not sure about Bunker Hill as I don't have that settlement yet). I think for Lechmere Station settlement the Machinegun turrets should be Mk 3 (or Mk 5).
I agree with tenhats (who is no slouch when it comes to settlements!) - this is one of my favourite settlements too: excellent atmosphere, lighting, layout and just the perfect sleazy feel for my raider playthrus.
Brought here on a recommendation by Nakagawa777. Nice one! Kudos all round :-)
I love the place, just one thing that disappoints me, I don't get any SS2 visitors in this location. I have built a lot, two bars, two relaxation plots and one clothing store among other plots, but I never get any visitors. Is there any reason I don't know about why SS2 don't spawn visitors in this location?
I really like this settlement. I ever want to build in the Underground since I used Subway Runner and saw how the Raiders build in there.
Only one thing is annoying, the sound from the speakers...is it possible to make a patch without it? After building 2 hours in a row I can't hear it anymore. Pleeeeease do an no Sound version xD
Lechmere Station is fully compatible with Frost for Frost adds no stations for that location. That being said, its a pretty dangerous area so be warned when heading to the settlement
Thanks for a great interior settlement mod! I'm looking forward to building this out in all three of my ongoing playthroughs and beyond. ^_^
I did some poking around and found a few things that could use a final tweak and polish, if you're still around to do such things: https://imgur.com/a/YHSFegz
Stuff like this has made me want to try my hand at creating new interior settlements. I'm thinking about trying the Mass Chemical building just up the street from Lechmere next. ^_^
You can also use the optimized version. If precombines are regenerated, everything is solid. Unfortunately, that one is not ESL-flagged.
As for scrapping, I'm not sure if I should add scrap recipes for vanilla objects. Stuff like Scrap Everything adds them, for example, and I'm somewhat afraid of conflicts. Place Everywhere should be able to pick it, too, even in the optimized veriosn
Don't get me wrong here, it's super awesome to see more subway stations in the game. But as far as I remember Cambridge area, actual Lechmere station is on the ground, not underground.
In 1922 it was a rather beautiful creation:
These days it's not that beautiful, but it's still on the ground:
And even if it will go through the renovation, it'd be on the ground:
In fact, this whole Green Line thing really bothered me. It's a unique piece of old Boston, and it's nowhere as well represented as it could be in the game :(
Just assume that they did move it underground by 2077?
Well, that subway entrance I used isn't even labelled in the vanilla game. I compared the F4 worldmap to the boston subway map, and decided that Lechmere is the closest point to that entrance, and took the name. There is no such structure like in the photos in the game, either...
Maybe the dissimilarity was the reason why Bethesda didn't label the entrance in the first place? Mh..
:) first, thanks for a well thought reply. Hat's off. second, well, I'd easily buy the idea that Lechmere was put underground (anyways, there's no Lechmere viaduk in the game, too), but then I'm pretty sure MTA'd use a more modern entrance into the station, not the Park St.-like one (it's a really old thingie).
Anyways, thanks a lot for your work! Very appreciated!
Underground is probably a smarter choice design wise due to how exterior cells can be problematic due to Quests, Precombine/PreVis or even simply too many NPCs. Most likely, this mod avoids those problems and lets us build in an Interior Cell.
Ha I looked up real location of one of the parks from vanilla fallout, they put it in completely wrong place. So Bethesda definitely took liberties too.

Would it be possible of a version without lights?
