Adds craftable alternate suppressors into the game that don't change the firing sound of your weapons, but still function exactly the same as regular suppressors.

Suppressors are exceedingly useful weapon attachments for anyone running a sneak sniper build or a gung-ho commando build. For sneak snipers they allow you to fire from cover and not give away your position, and for commandos they add quite a lot of stability and recoil control. As such, I imagine they are used quite extensively.

But one thing that always annoyed me was the suppressed bullet sound. It was more of a clicking sound as opposed to the sound of a weapon firing. This eventually came to a head when I was using a fully automatic vanilla assault rifle, and the accursed thing sounded like a staple gun as I was unloading my mag into a squad of gunners. I got so fed up, I decided no more, and made this mod.

What does it do?
What this mod does is it adds in alternate suppressors that function exactly the same as regular suppressors, but unlike their normal counterparts, they don't adjust the firing sound the player hears when using their weapon (and before you ask, what the player hears is very different from what the NPCs in game hear).  After much testing, I was able to determine that despite the weapons still sounding normal to me, they were the same as silenced weapons to the NPCs in game (basically I crouched near a gang of raiders (and other NPCs), fired a regular suppressed weapon into the air, and watched the detection bar, then did the same with one of my alternate suppressors, had the same effect on my detection/stealth rating for both weapons).

But that's not all. Any weapon equipped with these alternate suppressors also benefit from any perks/bonuses that affect silenced weapons, like Ace Operator and Sandman.

Which weapons does this mod add to?
As of current every vanilla weapon that comes with a suppressor, in addition to the DLC weapons. For a more detailed list, see the posts section.

How do I make them?
The alternate suppressors are craftable in the Weapons Workbench like any other weapon attachment. They are identical to the normal ones in material cost and perk requirements (except for the handmade rifle one, you need Science 4 instead of Rifleman 5). They are also identical in appearance, weight, range reduction, etc etc. They even have loose mods as well, so if you change to a bayonet or something, you can hold on to the mod or sell it.

Compatibility/Requirements
This mod does not alter any existing in game records, so unless your weapons have all had their keywords changed due to some other mod, there should be no conflicts of any kind with any other mod.

Requires Nuka World and Far Harbor (DLC weapons are added on to by this mod).

Enhanced Perks: Enhances Armorer, Gun Nut, Science!, and Blacksmith perks with added bonus effects, making life in the wasteland a little more... tolerable.
