Version 1.25. Fixed the inability to launch the mod if it was connected at the beginning of a new game. Now the messenger appears when the Survivor moves to any open location and only after leaving Vault 111.
There is such a way, for this you need to redo the entire mod. I am using Hostile Aviation with default settings. In this case, Bee's unlimited ammo doesn't solve anything. Only tactics.
Ok thanks for the reply. Flyable Personal Vertibirds have the option to make your minigun cost 5mm ammo when you shoot, however i like Pchela so much im not sure if i want to switch :D
so do we have unlimited ammo from 'get go?' .. or do we have to put at least 1 ammo of any kind in her? I just logged back in to check .. I prefer unlimited anyways because scavving won't save the Commonwealth ~ haha
pssst .. ;) can i give a Companion a Gunner's ticket.. and then command the Companion to board Pchela.. and then command Pchela to Fly over head.. WILL ?? that Companion with the Gunner's ticket get to go for a RIDE alone that way?? haha I thought Pchela could shoot the Front guns while my Companion worked the Minigun.. while i took care of things on the ground :) I am ALSO using LIGA by the way

either recruit her as a Settler like i did using the Reanimator gun .. or else with LIGA you have to make her a companion first and THEN dismiss her to a settlement .. if i am correct ..
she automatically self-assigned herself to a job once recruited .. she is not like vanilla who ditch work and goto the bar :)

(its strongly recomended). ---------- i dont know what is "Jamp" in the menu? It is not translates. What does it mean? ---------- And pls correct word "servise" in pip-boy menu (need "service"). ---------- Novation. 1. headlamps on pchela , lightning forward to the ground surface. (switch on/off with key). 2. hotkey to switch seats inside cabin of vertibird during flight (left minigun-turret seat---> left pilots seat ---> rigth pilots seat--->right mini-gun turret seat---> and turn around like a carousel. (Coz , its harder to me about seats of passengers,sorry). I think it will be more usefull. 3. more skins for pchela. --------- (Now, its all).
Hi! I am struggling with this mod. I collected all the parts (Gyro, Scanner, GPS, Gunshock, Transmitter and Chipset). I "put" them into/on Pchela and I am lost, I don't know what to do or expect next? I hit "E" on the vertibird and nothing happens. I try to build a helipad at a settlement, I can see it in the build list but I can't build it even though I have ample materials?
What is this "hotkey" list you speak of? There is a terminal but it's in the cargo hold? With no MCM or holotape to configure I can't figure out what to do?

EDIT: OK so I had to get the Combat Module, placed it in and voila! I can get in and the team follows into the cargo hold. OK, so this doesn't work like normal vertibirds where your pipboy directs travel. I'm guessing I need to build helipads now? Ok but how do you travel to locations where you can't build helipads?
Read the quest entry. Most likely, it is necessary to repair the vertibird while being near it. To do this, activate the space next to the vertibird or create a holo-tape in the chemical workshop. Next you need to find and activate the overhaul point. There may be a fast travel mat installed in the location. It needs to be dismantled to build a helipad. The game allows only one copy of these objects per location.
I can't find a holotape in the chem workshop, it doesn't have a separate category and it's not in Utilities? How do you activate a space next to the vertibird? It's currently located just outside of the Olivia..
All recipes are in the Pchela category. Walk around the vertibird, the activation area is approximately double the radius. In current quests, what is the current entry?
I looked through these comments but didn'e anything on Marina's willingness to collect pchela components for you. I was astonsihed when she volunteered to collect a part for me...and it showed up in my inventory. How do you actually trigger this option? Thanks again.
I guess you already thought of this, but do you think you could allow the Pchela to fly to the place-able map marker or have some way to tell it to go to undiscovered/random places. It would be more realistic because you can tell a helicopter to go anywhere in real-life.
Yes, yes, I totally agree with you! I really want to achieve this, but I still can not fly to a random place. It is possible that it will not work at all. The flight program to the designated place is sewn into the game very deeply and can not be changed. The directional flight mechanism is the same as the rapid movement on map. Maybe in Fallout 5 we can do it!
Thanks! I know it would have been nice to make vertibirds more realistic with the ability to go anywhere with them. They are basically a slow version of fast travel in the vanilla game. This mod at least makes them more useful for combat. I am playing on survival and the worst part is that I get killed inside the vertibird to easily.
This will depend on the principle that these plugins use. If they affect the last vertibird used by the player, they will act on the Pchela as well. Otherwise, there will be no action.
I installed the excellent cardinal points mod and with it you can go anywhere on the map. Once you visit a few locations you use them as nav points to set up vectors to undiscovered places etc. My favourite thing to do is fly patrol sorties to keep hostiles down and gain xp points.
You know, before you responded to me, I didn't even know where the Fast Travel mat was… shows you how much time I spent in settlement building in this game…
That being said, I have an idea for some feedback. Take the helipad and instead of making it a gigantic Circle, make it a much smaller square with only the H in it because the bird doesn't need much space to actually Park. At least make the circle somewhat smaller, maybe even make it like a second option. That would be cool too.
I made the platform twice the original diameter. The rotorcraft often landed past the landing site. I had to increase it. But I’ll do it as a second option if I get my hands on it.
not sure whats going on, but the gunner seat insists using my held/equipped weapon as the turret weapon. even after selecting the designated turret it does not fix.
now i wouldn't mind it letting me use my held weapon, but sadly it also seems to smack the hit box causing it to crash land. thus the turret is unusable. this also seem to effect npcs as well.
iv tried uninstall/reinstall, and all functions of mod trying to fix it.
it may be possible a mod is somehow interfering... but i don't have any mods that particularly effect anything to do with vertibirds or weapons. so i am at a loss as to what is causing this anomalous behavior.
anyways thanks for this wonderful mod. this thing really does put down the hurt when it follows u around. i "almost" feel sorry for the wasteland.
Try to overhaul from the menu while on the ground next to the vertibird. If this does not help, manually download F4SE from the official site and reinstall with file replacement. This has already helped many.

I am finally going to try this out so that Pchela can help me out with Far Harbor clean ups..
PS: has anybody spotted a vertibird Paint Scheme for an Air Ambulance? or Medical Rescue type of service??
