Hello Elianora Just wanted to ask you a honest qestion. Do I need to worry about this breaking anything? Does this break precombines? One can never be to careful. I have downloaded this and is keeping it deactivated untill I can find the answer. I have spent the better part of my day looking for the answer but haven't been able to find one. Through out the years I have always enjoyed your mods. Please hit me up. Thank you in advance.
Probably does. I made this years ago when I didn't yet know how to make exteriors without breaking precombs. I never had any trouble with this so I dunno.
The naming of the esp and archive files brought me great joy. I don't know where a Finn learned the Bostonian pronunciation of a town in Maine, but I am positively tickled by this little detail.
Very nice. If you revisit this, to get around the key bother, I'd suggest adding it to one of the nearby vendor's lists, (say Mitch or Brooks), for some hefty caps. After all, they are literally right there, all on the very same pier. And it would be a realistic way to obtain a small but prime spot of real estate - after all, folks crowded there would all know it's not occupied. A key wouldn't stop them but a pricey native seller would. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for replying. As to the key, a few other mods do it (and, I guess, the game for home plate). Perhaps if it's made a unique item? For example, iirc, I think RedRocketTV and Zorkaz have done this for properties in Goodneighbour and near Bunker Hill. Ah, yes, here: Goodneighbour Condo (Redrocket), and both Goodneighbour Attic and Barry Field Cottage (Zorkaz). Others too.
That said, would it matter if the key was still in the vendor's list next time? - I mean, you might lose the original and be glad of a 2nd one...
To anyone concerned, this mod reported clean as a whistle in FO4edit4.0.4. And I checked my framerate which never dropped below 60FPS on a modest rig with settings which normally just hold onto 60fps most of the time (i.e. when not fighting mutant hordes downtown).
Other than the key, I noted in my game (which doesn't use any enb, but does use the no-godrays mod) the windows when outside seem too bright (a lot brighter than your previews), and stay on both day and night. I uploaded pics to the images tab. Don't think this is due to the no-godray mod (see my comparison pic with tavern's window to the right). Inside the light is really neat, both during the day and especially at night with a ghostly glow streaming in through the windows (which look fine from inside) and gentle glows from well placed interior lights.
Curie followed me in ok. There's less for either of us to do inside, but she did eventually sit at the table, lean against the wall the 2nd trip, and light a fag the 3rd time. Don't think she likes walking around the bed - took 4 attempts to get her to sleep, and she won't use the sofa. I think that corner and restricted access to it is too problematic for NPCs. After she woke she was stuck next to the bed until I sat at the table and waited an hour, at which point her animation jumped her to standing on the bed. She then stepped off the end and started reading a paper.
FOR THOSE SEARCHING THE KEY: It is on the corpse in the direction of the ocean - NOT Far Harbor (also not the skeleton by the bed, there are kitchen furniture behind the right one). If the mirelurk/corpse don't appear, just reinstall the mod (I used Vortex) it worked fine for me.
Amazing mod btw, thanks Elianora for the hard work :)
I also had trouble finding the key. I looked up and down on the wall in the screenshot - and everywhere else on the island. I used TCL to float up and down the walls. I threw a grenade to try and dislodge any invisible keys. I put the mod at either end of my load order. No luck. (I finally got inside by using HELP TOURIST 4 to get the code for the key.)
well damn. this is why half of us cant fncking find it... i have a zombie mod that turns all corpses and skeletons into enemies that move around and sh!t, i think some of these other people have the same mod or something similiar....this is highly problematic.

Does someone know what ENB Elianora used in her screenshots?
