Before you do anything, backup your ini. Then, for a closer 3rd person camera view when riding, add (or change if existing) this to your Fallout.ini (or Falloutcustom.ini): [camera] fVertibirdAutoVanityZoom=350.0000 fVertibirdVanityModeMaxDist=2000.0000 fVertibirdVanityModeMinDist=350.0000
Adjust those numbers to your liking (that's a good setup for the small animals, like the Radstag, but may not be great for the trucks)."

Comrades, help!. I can't understand how this mod works at all!. So I'm sitting on this riding dog. And he just turns around, Doesn't even want to go. OKAY, SO I CAN'T GET OFF HIM AT ALL! There is no menu except "Dress, Stop, Go". As a result, what's where, but personally, the mod does not work for me. Well, I sat on it. The download has passed, here I am on it. After that, however, my companions in the form of Piper are attached to IT. However, she is either in my "embrace" or under the dog. Well, I ran where I needed to and that's it. I can't get off. why not add support for the MCM menu? To attach to the necessary buttons such actions as Climb, get off. We looked into the brahmin...it is so fat the player clips into the body. Same with the mirelurk. We did do a few other ones though...radstag, giddy up buttercups, giant mole rat and cats. Currently we are working on vehicles...there is a truck one out now and working on boats.
Yeah that would be the answer... Very much like the Kenner Tauntaun saddle IRL. With a little scripting magic can replace saddle model when dis/mounting, probably??. Yeah, gotta back up the idea for SM riding Mutant Hounds into battle like berserker Orcs.
If anyone ever has a problem of not being able to exit the workbench try to spawn in an item first type "help dog 4" then look for stuff under ARMO or something like that then "player.additem (number id) 1" then maaybe that will work. It did for me hope this helps.
hey there! thank you for making the driveable dogs and such!!! it's added a huge level of fun for me as I traverse the wastes with my giant rad dog. only...I've become extremely attached to him already, and he died once and I was so upset I nearly cried and reloaded a save before.

not sure whats wrong. i can mount on. but my character is staying on ground pointing gun in wierd directions. cant exit the mount. the workshop i can craft but cant exit. camera angle is fixed so i cant tilt or pivot.
