Quick question: should the latest version v3.6.3 of your mod still work with old-gen version v1.10.163.0 of Fallout 4? (I ask because I've read .ba2 packed files changed format in the latest version of the game)
I haven't updated my modded installation of Fallout 4 yet due to serious performance and stability issues indroduced by the latest official update. Therefore todays update to the Wetness Shader Fix works well with 1.10.163.
To clarify: the next gen update will still work (more or less) with mods made for 1.10.163, at least the game will load them and their BA2 archives. Only mods requiring the script extender MUST be updated by their authors. The problem with plugin mods (mods containing an esl, esp or esm file) is that changing some specific things from the game will cause massive performance problems and can lead to CTDs. One of those things is editing any NPC from the game. Right now it is adviced to revert the update if you plan on using many mods until Bethesda fixes their mistakes.
Great, just checking, I'm on version v1.10.163.0 as well because the next-gen update seemed to bring more problems than solutions (and I also wasn't super crazy about the new content tbh).
