Just started a new playthrough when i saw this mod. Since you recommend a new save, will it work for me or is there any way to confirm it's activated? I'm only at the beginning meeting Codsworth again!
If you type "player.placeatme 1f8545 1" in the console commands window it should spawn a chest that generates 50 or 100 legendary items. I used this to test the mod. You can try that and then reload a previous save with or without my mod installed.
Hi there. This mods look like a must for a hardcore playthroughs along with your loot logic reductions mods . It's not clear to me if the legendary effect which doesn't have a descriptions in your list, are removed or left unchanged, for example: Deadeye Nocturnal Poisoner's ... etc. Can you please elaborate?
So far, I've been unsuccessful in getting this working properly. I've moved it up and down my load order, reinstalled multiple times, and the changes made to existing effects are the part of this mod I can get working. Magical vanilla effects still appear, and none of those from this mod. I've thoroughly examined the mod in xEdit, and can't find any meaningful conflicts. Anyone have any ideas?
While I was working on this comment, I tried creating a fresh character, and it worked fine for that character. I assume the issue has to do with how legendaries are distributed. Does anyone know how to reset the distribution quest?
I like this mod quite a bit, but I wish you left the old legendary mods in and added yours on top, I like how you patched dlc ammo drops into main game and added dlc stuff to legendary lists.

No legendary weapons on vendors.
I've been trying to find a mod for this. As I find legendaries too powerful and hate that I can buy some crazy insane 2-shot rifle from a vault vendor that claims to not have weaponry when you speak to her, among other things. I was wondering if you're the person for this job. I'd do it myself but I don't know a thing about modding. Either way, thanks for taking the time to read this message. Have a good day.
Hmm, that's an interesting idea. I actually like the legendary gear in stores since they are unique and expensive (so I actively tried to keep them untouched in this mod). I'm planning to take another look at this mod since I haven't touched it in a while. I'll take another look at the vendor legendaries when I do and maybe make sure they match this better.
Wow thanks for getting back so fast. I appreciate it. I was actually coming back to edit my post, I wasn't expecting this. lol - anyways: I was intending to explain myself better: I've been putting together a hardcore roleplay playthrough of my own design, cherrypicking all the best mods for it, and yours, such as less loot, have been a huge help. The thing is I delete legendary weapons, and legendary creatures from the game altogether, as I find a more bland, vanilla gear/environment experience more entertaining. I love your mod's direction, but I'm seeking no legendaries at all. What kills me is that I have to start running away from quest rewards and vendor options to fulfill this, which makes me feel like my character is an idiot because the obviously powerful weapons and armor are right there, and being ignored. I simply have not found any mods that do this at all. I don't know how much demand there is for such a thing, but I've looked high and low and not found it, so I imagine not much. -- The one exception is 'Limitless Potential' in University Point, since the entire zone is dedicated to the students there having developed a super-awesome prototype rifle. Not having the gun would betray the entire plot of what happened there. Otherwise, I'm pretty desperate to have all the legendary weapons excised from the game. I know it's super nitpicky and all that, and not really what this mod I'm posting in is about, just thought I'd take a shot in the dark and see if that was something you were interested in. I appreciate the response all the same whether you do this or not. Its your time, not mine. Again, thanks for the swift reply. Take care.
Okay, I see where you are going. Yeah, I might try doing this as a separate mod. If I do I'll try and remember to PM you about it.
Thanks, I would appreciate that for sure. No pressure though.

Is it compatible with mods that add new weapon to leveled lists? For example I'm using Skibadaa Weapon Pack Redux (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23064/?) and it is placed above your mod in the load order. Nevertheless I have found WH-77 assault rifle with explosive legendary effect.
Third party weapon mods should be patched? But how I can make such patch?
I'm actually unaware of this, as I don't use modded in guns. I feel like there shouldn't be any issue. My best advice would be to load up both mods into FO4edit and see if there are any conflicts and look up how to make a patch online. I haven't touched this in so long I forget everything it touches. Maybe the leveled list(s) that choose what weapons can be selected?
You can also just test them on a test save along with a mod that increases legendary spawns and see if the modded weapons are dropping and named right. Hope that helps.
No, this weapon pack injects its weapons into leveled lists with scripts (the same way as many new mods). There are no direct conflicts, I checked in the FO4Edit. I will try to check leveled lists and how it works, may be I will can remove some legendary effects.
No idea what that mod author plans to do as they progress. They might add support to all the DLCs but they might also make their own changes to the Legendary perks/system.
I'm afraid this mod works as intended, so I won't be making a base game version. At best I will add more effects or tweak existing. I included plenty of documentation and am more than happy if the creator of Frost or any other mod wants to use my ideas. I've got a lot of mod ideas in my head and need to get them out.
Love this, I'm working on a Survival hardcore mod for Immersive gameplay and would love to interoperate this into the mod so console users can benefit and to maintain full compatibility and consistency, full credits given of course.

If it doesnt include random power armor parts to drop from legendary enemies with a legendary mod, can you make an optional file that gives legendary enemies a chance to drop legendary power armor part? Thanks for the mod either way, looks promosing and I will start new game soon but hope for power armor to be included
I'd like to do this, but only if I can find a way to make it so only legendary enemies wearing power armor drop legendary power armor parts (which I don't think is easy to do).

Oh, and I hope it will eventually support Legendary Modification. I don't think Horizon changes the legendaries....
