Here's a preset of my character for LooksMenu. I've uploaded this for myself because I tend to screw up my saves and/or take breaks from the game and forget what I need to recreate my important game content. So view this as a how to guide to recreate my character. I honestly don't know where she came from. I've gone through several iterations of other people's faces and faceripping NPCs. I think she is inspired by Brokefoot's Curie character as best I can tell. So, I'd say give all the design credit to him.
The mods used are pretty much universally required for the really good presets out there. For instance, installing everything on this page (Plus the hair mods required) makes characters like Estina by femshepping and thestarstwinklebrightonite and Iris Face and Body by Dyeless come out 99% like in their screenshots. One of the largest influences in how your character looks is the ENB you use. If you don't have Fallout 4's fake character light turned off via another mod/ENB, open up the command console (~) and type in "cl off". If you want it back on type "cl on".
Needless to say, you must have and use LooksMenu by Expired6978 to get the face in game. However, once you save the character with the new face, it's not necessary to keep LooksMenu active. There is an Incompatibility between Reshade (Used in a lot of good ENBs) and the F4SE that LooksMenu requires.
Installation
1. Install LooksMenu per the instructions on its download page.
2. Install the mods listed below under Minimum Requirements. (These next two steps are the hardest and most time consuming)
3. [Optional] Install the mods listed under Recommended Mods.
4. Use NMM to download the Preset file and activate it
or
Manually download the file and unzip/Copy Esara.json to your data/F4SE/Plugins/F4EE/Presets folder. If you don't have a presets and/or F4EE folder, just create them.
5. Launch fallout using the instructions under the Looksmenu page. (ie Use the F4SE executable to launch)
6. Load up the save you want to use and once it loads up, open the command console. (Tilde ~ is default key)
7. Type "slm player" and hit <Enter>. Close the command console (Tilde ~).
8. Select the "Presets" option and select the face. Go over and change the hair color or body shape if you want to and then hit "Done".
