Description

It bugged me that the key used for the third activate option used for special actions (e.g. Eat Corpse, Calling Card etc.) was the Spacebar and consequently the same as jump. The T-key seemed a much better choice as it's only used for 'Waiting' (unless I've missed something!), plus T is right next to the other activate keys, they even line up in the same order as on screen: E, R, T.

Fortunately F4SE allows the re-binding keys that the Fallout 4 options don't. But the prompt in the HUD was then showing the wrong key :(

However, with Neanka's help I have been able to edit the DEF_UI HUD Menu to change the prompt to T as well :)

Compatibility and Requirements

Requires F4SE (F4SE's CustomControlMap is what makes this possible at all)
Requires DEF_UI (specifically DEF_HUD)

Incompatible with any mod that also supplies a customised CustomControlMap.txt file, found in \Data\F4SE\
Don't overwrite your current copy with mine, just edit yours with the same edit as mine.

Incompatible with any mod that also edits the HUDMenu.swf file

Installation

Install with NMM, choose your screen aspect ratio and whether to install the CustomControlMap file or not.

To install manually, find the HUDMenu.swf file in the folder matching your aspect ratio, and copy it to \Data\Interface\ and copy CustomControlMap.txt to \Data\F4SE\

If you already have a copy of CustomControlMap.txt that you want to edit, open it up in your favourite text editor, find QuickContainerPerk (it's nearly at the bottom) and replace the first instance of !Jump on that line with 0x54 (which is the Virtual-Key Code for the T key), and save.

Credits

Neanka for creating DEF_UI and for telling me which bit of HUDMenu.swf to edit for this mod
ParasiteX for creating the 1.7 compatible versions of HUDMenu.swf using Neanka's originals
valdacil for bringing DEF_UI back from the dead and helping maintain it
Me for continuing to help maintain DEF_UI ;)
sekoms for trying help with this little mod and helping keep DEF_UI alive and updated (and generally being awesome)
