Thanks to everyone that has downloaded the mod thus far!! I consider this mod in a complete status, so anyone waiting, I would recommend downloading it now if you want to try it out. There wont be a ton of big changes real soon, but a smaller update to v1.7 was out (10/29/2016). v1.7 may be the last update for a while, unless someone finds any bugs or other issues.
Re: Crowd sound: I have tried a couple different things now to get the sound to just play during the times I want it to, but it has not worked unfortunately.
Thanks again, LB
UPDATE (7.17.2022)
After many moons, I decided to revisit DCP to finalize some things that where on my list to get done, check the change log.
Would like to eventually fix the below 2 withstanding items, but would need help. If anyone knows how to, shoot me a PM!
Crowd sound still plays 24/7.
Nav Mesh is not fully complete in outside areas either. I still have not figured out how to connect certain areas.
Changelog below as well:
Changelog 2.0:
Added sleep schedules to numerous DCP NPC's outside, so they aren't always standing around/working.
The Cowhand NPC's have their own place to sleep now. I found an unused cellar in the files that had the correct orientation for what I needed, check it out!
Removed the "fake" fence/posts from the main stadium mesh. Took a different approach via Nifscope by hiding them, rather then deleting them to avoid mesh issues.
Removed weapon inventory from NPC's that did not look good if using Classic Holstered Weapons System (CHW) (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46101)
Minor additions/fixes
Changelog 2.1:
Small update to Navmesh in Cowhand Cellar, AmbMusic now continues to play in all DCP added buildings, misc.
No, the mod author to PRP replied earlier in the thread somewhere.
would need a patch.
it can still run though but it would need to be placed last in the load order. it would circumnavigate the benefit of PRP but wouldn't get flickering meshes.
The other work around is to disable Precombines all together but this will kill your game on older hardware.
To answer your question, no, it is not. You will experience flickering in other places unless you make a patch. It was great, but I switched to PRP and started noticing flickering in other places.
for an older mod, this is actually really good, i was fully expecting something that would destroy my fps, but no, this runs as well as the vanilla location, i'm pleasantly surprised how well this runs, it's a great mod, the only thing i would add for the other empty stands is some kind of farming kind of deal, like Dimond city for the size of it and as many residents there are, it would make sense that they would make use of more of their stands for farming stuff, just saying, it could just be an esthetic it doesn't need to be overwhelming to take down the fps.
I no longer have FO4 installed, nor tried the next gen update. I presume it still works though, as no one has mentioned anything impacted since it has been out. In theory it should be OK to install mid-game as there are no scripts, but I never tried, I always set my load order at start of a new game and don't change it.
simple and good mod, a question is compatible with ''CGT Better Diamond'' https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38940?tab=description and with this''Lush But Not Green - Diamond City Edition'' https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/65120?tab=posts I would like to use all three because they are simple but necessary edits.
I took a look at the mod pages. Going by the pics, there may be clipping and or missing sections with either or them or both installed. I do not have FO4 installed at the moment, so cannot check myself for sure. Go ahead and download them and see if the conflict, if they do just disable.
Doesn't a question break precombinations? That's why sometimes I don't install this type of mods because of that detail, I don't know how to solve it yet, but well, I installed the three mods and it seems to work without problems. The loading order was as follows: "CGT Better Diamond, then the second CGT Better Diamond and finally Lush But Not Green - Diamond City Edition a very good and light combination, it looks very good to try it, at first it had flickers but using that loading order I solved it, first your mod then the others!! I will inform you of any problems and if I have them I would leave yours because I like the ambient sound and the added NPCs I use the audio volume low and perfect!! Thank you !!
Hi Liquid, great work on this mod. I specially like how it fleshes out the space without adding bloat or breaking anything, which is a delicate balance for DC. Would you allow me to port your mod to xbox with all the credits and pleasantries? If so, would you please update your permissions tab for the mod as well to allow uploads to bethnet?
Yeah, that was me, published it by mistake with other 2 DC mods that are open perms. Removed it as soon as I saw it. I take permissions very seriously so Im currently sitting on tons of mods for xbox that have been tested to work, but just need the OMA's thumbs up.
Isn't there a certain timeframe if no one answers you can upload it without breach of etiquette just take it down when someone complains? Thats how the Etiquette is on Loverslab.
I don't believe there is a timeframe, you must get the creators consent in some form. Sorry for the late reply, you may upload it and then PM me the link so I can verify.
I was going through all of my Diamond City mods trying to figure out which one added voices that make the main area sound busy of conversation etc like an actual city and it was your mod. Thanks so much for that! you would be surprised how many diamond city mods do not have that feature to make the city sound like a busy city full of voices and chatter, in fact your mod is the only one ive used so far that adds that. Gone are the days of the creapy and eerie silence of the city with everyone walking around not saying anything. the market acually sounds like a market now, Thanks so much. the amount of quietness was driving me crazy
The mod works, it's very lite compared to the other diamond city mods, but like i said it works, a lot of the other diamond city mods seem to have a lot of bugs and problems.
So i recommend this if you're unsure what to do with diamond city regarding mods.

Then get a hold on your loadorder, and your game is smoother than ever - promise :)
I promise we are not a cult :D
