The long radio silence and lack of updates stems to a disastrous attempt at migrating to Vortex, and a renewed interest now in 2021.
Major changes: - Installer now works properly with Vortex. However, I've not yet been able to test all scenarios. - VIS installation is no longer required: RUE now duplicates or enhances all VIS functionality and can function standalone. - AWCKR installation is no longer required: RUE includes basic "stub" functionality minus stencils, material and model swaps.
Future updates: There is a large backlog of bug reports, and I've not yet decided what to do about all of them, especially older ones which relate to outdated mods. Most likely I will address the obvious ones, and close out as unfixed those which aren't readily reproducible.
RUE is now standalone - original VIS mod no longer required, and now compatible with VIS-G
New from 3.0: - RUE is now a full standalone sorting mod - original Valdacil and AWKCR mods supported but no longer required! - The RUE base is now an ESM resource to simplify load order and improve compatibility with mods which modify vanilla items - Incorporated all base game and DLC item fixes from the Unofficial Patch UFO4P - Added new tags to further distinguish item types especially junk and valuables - New Power Armor naming rules supporting Creation Club content and restoring natural-language naming style: no more {Mod}(Mod)[Mod] - All player perks now have icons in the Pip-Boy status screen - Adjusted valuables: cigs aren't money, tokens are, and even rare items may be scrappable - Moved Trash and Resources to bottom of inventory list as players are least likely to interact with these - Realistic and consistent item weights, vanilla base, balanced for realism, and applied to all mod patches - Fixed item weights: a Queen Mirelurk Steak should weight more than a Chicken Thigh - Consistent take/drop sounds: full and empty bottles sound different, and similar items make similar sounds - Consistent crafting sounds, including for items craftable only in mods - Added installer option for standalone Wasteland Workshop DLC for Vanilla players - Updated installer for compatibility with Vortex

It's been a while since this mod was updated/last commented on but I'm desperately out of ideas and could use some help.
I've spent the better part of a day trying to get this mod along with DEFUI to work and no matter what I do, what order I install, or set my load order none I'm still missing a ton of icons for vanilla weapons and apparel and most of my weapons and apparel arent' grouping into categories like my other item tabs. (Seemingly all weapons except explosives and multiple armored apparel). All other icons/categories seem to work for the most part.
Initially I was installing this alongside Def_UI, Rescaled/Fixed Iconlibs, Hud Framework, and VIS-G w/ AWKCR. Then I tried using Valdacil's sorting, which had no effect. Then I tried using this standalone without AWKCR or any other sorting mod with no change.
My latest attempt was to just use Def_UI and Radrose without the rescaled icons or Hud Framework installed and that didn't work either.
Throughout all these different mod loads I've installed/reinstalled multiple times in different orders, loaded them in different orders with no change. I've also tried dropping the items in my existing inventory, finding new weapons, loading a different save, with no results either.
None of the items missing their icons/tags are mod or dlc items they come from the Vanilla game so I cannot trace what's causing this issue.
I'm including my load order below. If anyone has any suggestions or knows a fix, I'd welcome any help or advice. Thanks!
Using this mod as a must have for some times, thanks to all involved, I am wondering if an update is in the pipe for Point Lookout !
Would be awesome ! I know the mod is freshly released and probably need some times to have this compatible, but knowing it woud come would be fantastic !
Would this be compatible with Ruddy88's Simple Sorter? I decided to use this simply because it doesn't need the bloatware AWKCR/AE which is needed by VIS & VIS-G. Any recommendations on the load order if I use Simple Sorter??
Also, I am planning to use Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO) instead of VIS-G Legendary Modifications. ECO is newer, with an update in March 2022, and has all features of VIS-G LM, with better stability. Any thoughts on compatibility with ECO?
When using the fomod installer, I found it greyed out boxes of mods I have, and wouldn't let me select them. Nora Spouse Companion (looks like I have the esm version) Loot Detector (looks like I have the esl version) We are the Minutemen
Should I just grab the esp patch files for these manually to add to my merged patch?
I also noted that the Workshop Rearranged mod will mess up/omit the tags (overwriting the full name), its DEFUI+VIS patch doesn't match some of your new categories = no icons for them. I gather since this is an esm I can't get it to load after workshop rearranged (esp) so will likely need a patch
Looking at the installer, it appears to be looking for very old versions of some mods. The plugin for We Are The Minutemen, for example, is named W.A.T.Minutemen.esp these days, but the installer is looking for "My_Minutemen" and not finding it. Since the file was last modified two years prior to the latest version of WATM, I'm going to guess that the patch isn't compatible. It should work together well enough, but items added or modified by we are the minutemen may or may not be properly tagged and sorted. I suspect that esm and esl versions aren't being detected in the case of the other mods. Those patches are both quite old as well, however I've not looked to see when the mods were last updated.
best style of item sorting there is for this game, i appreciate the work put in this. however i have an issue with one of the patches (i merged all of them) editing radaway. it yields an error in fo4edit (under EFID-Base Effect[04010C7B] < Error: Could not be resolved >) which breaks the item and i dont know if they werent supposed to be merged or what. i hope thats not the case because thats 20 plugin slots for tiny patches. any ideas as to how i can go about resolving this?

When using the fomod installer, I found it greyed out boxes of mods I have, and wouldn't let me select them.
Nora Spouse Companion (looks like I have the esm version)
Loot Detector (looks like I have the esl version)
We are the Minutemen
Should I just grab the esp patch files for these manually to add to my merged patch?
I gather since this is an esm I can't get it to load after workshop rearranged (esp) so will likely need a patch
:it's the mojave imports patch
