    Due to copyrights I can't add as much songs as I want, if a songstress (or a songster) want to add his song to the mod he can pm me ^^

    Please before posting a problem with thing not working make sure you have the latest version available.
    It seemed obvious but anyway : READ THE DESCRIPTION I'm sorry but I won't answer anymore to "problems" whose solution is explained in the description.


    Console port request :
    I'm sorry but I decided to remove all my remaining mods from Bethesda.net since they deleted some for having them tag for console like 4-5 H before the official console mod release.
    I'm sorry for console player, but I won't put anything back or new on Bethesda.net, you can thanks Bethesda.net site administrators for this.
    I'm not against console player, I'm against Bethesda.net, If there is a way to make my mods available on console without using Bethesda.net, let me know and I'll be more than happy to do it.
    Due to some recent pm I received, I thought that maybe the message wasn't clear enough so I'll never upload any of my mods to Bethesda.net, and will NEVER allow them to be uploaded publicly by a 3rd party, so save your time and mine and don't bother to ask, I'll ignore those requests.

    CTD on game load when adding a new song, i used the same file name and format like required and mentioned in the mod's description

    Dear Friend!
    Help advice on how to remove permanently the floodlights mod “Singing Settler” as they continue to be present in the game after removal.
    For example this line from Papyrus.1.log : 
    [09/05/2024 - 12:28:57AM] error: (FF0171ED): model was not loaded when we tried to play an animation on it (but it was disabled).If you enter the console command player.moveto FF0171ED , the game will move the main character to the place where the remote spotlight was. I had to disassemble the mod's spotlights because in my game they were causing constant power failures.

    How to remove the remote spotlights of this mod from the game?

    I would be very, very grateful for your reply.

      well, IF you returned to a save file that you made BEFORE you ever installed the mod that would work . . 

      are stories more important than your game?

      Game progress is very important in my case - I make clothes, armor, weapons once at the beginning of the game so as not to return to this routine anymore.
      It takes several calendar days.
      It is a pity that the problem with remote spotlights has no solution.
      It is a very, very pity.

      I can't stand making them let alone ballistic weaving them over and over neither . . so i use a console trick to duplicate copies of my armored up clothing for settlers . . do you have the mod "Place everywhere" installed? if so then while in workshop mode if you tap the INSERT key you will be able to scrap extra objects . . that might help remove those spotlights?

      Dear friend, of course I have the Place Everywhere mod installed.
      The thing is that the spotlights of this mod are for some reason written into the game saves and it is impossible to delete them either with mods or with the console.
      Or rather, the spotlights are visually deleted (disassembled), but continue to be present in the game (game saves).
      As a result, HUNDREDS of lines of error about the spotlights of this mod are constantly written in the error logs (Papyrus).
      Even when deleting (in any way) the player's spotlights, the console command player.moveto id moves to the point where the already deleted spotlight was.
      Consultations with the authors of mods recognized on the nexus did not give anything.
      Unfortunately, the author of the mod does not answer questions.
      Apparently only he can fix this error, for example, with a patch.
      I would really like that.
      And the mod is wonderful!
      I always play with it.

      well, there is also the mod 'Clipboard Resurrection' you can copy structures, buildings, decore (even whole settlements) into 'pattern' files and then PASTE those patterns into other saves on other game drives everywhere to salvage what you built if you have to roll back :)

      myself? I seem to move backwards in saves more than forwards when trying mods

      some people wrote they weren't able to build the microphones and lights in more than one settlement at a time, were you yourself able to do that? cuz i am still deciding whether to try Singing Setter OR Larannkiar's Recruit Magnolia mod :(

      There is nothing wrong with the microphones of this mod.
      I like to build and save what I have built using the Transfer Settlements mod.
      Spotlights are "registered" in the same way as blueprints of ready-made settlements (this is natural) and then after importing the settlement they are permanently registered in the game saves.
      The only problem with this mod is that spotlights cannot be deleted.

      ?? so can i use this mod and NOT build spotlights from it?  or are they necessary for the scripts?

      I haven't tried doing this.
      It's quite possible that even if you don't build the spotlights, they will still end up in the game and in the savegames since the mod will be installed.
      The spotlights from this mod have a lot of scripts.

    • You can have only one active microphone (karaoke or singer's) by settlements.
    Does the above statement mean that I can only have one active microphone period. Because I have one active microphone and wanted build another at a different settlement but the category under "furniture" is no longer there.

    I am using a mod called Hotel Rexford player settlement. 
    Wonderful mod that allows you to reclaim and build Hotel Rexford in GN. 
    Its obviously a new (modded) settlement. 
    Singing settler doesnt work on mod-added settlements:
    "With safeguards added in v2.1 and higher the mics won't work with custom settlements if those settlement miss a Location (Location as form type)"
    Big sad. 
    Any one know how I can fix this with FO4edit? 

    Edit: KARAOKE MACHINE WORKS on modded settlements!!! with sound and lights and everything!!

    I rarely comment on  mods, but this one is deserving of some written praise, it's well done and adds life to a settlement that is sorely needed sometimes. 
    And it just works, which I've found to be rare for mods.
    The only issue I encountered was a tendency for the settlement to weirdly lose all power while I was away, tanking the approval rating. This was fixed by installing a one power generator from another mod in sequence with an interrupt switch between the two generators. Why this works you ask? I've no freaking clue.
    Despite that, I whole whole heartedly endorse this mod and recommend it to anyone wanting settlers something to party to.
