PUT. THIS. AT. THE. BOTTOM. OF. YOUR. LOAD. ORDER. OTHER MODS THAT EDIT THE SAME INTERIORS (LIGHTING MODS, ENVIRONMENTAL MODS, MODS THAT ADDS THINGS TO INTERIORS) CAN CAUSE GLITCHING INTERIORS DUE TO HOW FALLOUT 4 IS PERFORMANCE OPTIMISED.
Mod is done. Finished. It works as intended, expect no changes or updates.
On both the old and NG I had to make a patch to delete the previs data otherwise the vault elevator door opens into a void :D
That's with this mod at the bottom of my load order so I don't know what I'm doing differently from everyone else. Whatever it is I do it every time I reinstall FO4. Does it matter if the ELFX and PRP previs patches have a later datestamp than this mod despite being before it in the load order?
While I was in FO4Edit I replaced the shower and toilet with ones from CWSS.
This mod... at least version 1.3... does not seem to recognize CWSS toilets, showers, sinks, etc. so the entire bathroom is just a useless decoration that has no function other then giving the appearance this mods provides something the almost identical MF Vault 81 Overhaul does not have.
The version 1.3 of your mod also does not have any separate shower or laundry rooms.
AND as far as putting this at the bottom of my load order is concerned, neither Vortex or LOOT allows this, so if this is really a necessary requirement then your mod is pretty screwed.
I also use cwss, and the toilets n showers n such used in this mod , wouldn't recognize that mod due to how she made then and may need a patch I suppose...
Vortex is a self-inflicting misery and Loot is a guideline at best as its recognition routines (quote me!) SUHHHHHHH-UCK!! The lowest sections of my typically screaming load order are Fourville and other questies, Concord Revised, Diamond City Expansion and other DC mods, the Rebuild series, the SimSettlements set, a Lootable mod, Ceft_main and Open Commonwealth, Clean My Settlement, 81 Overhaul, then the scrap mod, AFT, Start Me Up, Player Comments, Workshop Framework Override, NO Efin Riotation, and the maps.
Seriously, mlh, stop curdling your own milk and get past LOOT.
I cannot open this mod in the CK. I see many missing textures. (EDIT: Had to extract BA2 files to edit in CK)
Also noticed a workshop bench out of bounds, noticed a huge disable enable recycle arrow marker. (EDIT: Workshop bench is cloud storage for benches.) I just want to reposition the floating plate..... (Edit: I just removed the plate from the enable parent and it goes where I put it. Somehow when relinking it, it draws its 3D data from the marker and I am not worried about relinking it up again.) Also, very important, the Vis folder needs to be in data folder or you will have rooms blink out of existence.
Been finding invisible chairs and couches in Overseer section. I copy them in CK, delete them and hit Ctrl Shift V to bring them back and they reappear in game.
Another great mod yet again! Thank you so much , i do have one problem though.. My bobblehead shelf is bugged into the floor? - http://imgur.com/4gFRW92 I haven't interacted with it anyway, it was like this when i entered for the first time after installing the mod.
The bobblehead shelf problem is a result of the position data being saved in your game from your previous visit (probably the same with the floating glass and dish). I didn't have the issue despite installing it on a completed play through (where I did earn/visit the room already), so I don't know why some people have the issue and others don't. Did you move the stand at some point before installing?
To fix the bobblehead shelf, you can type the following into the console: prid 1ac881 setpos x -1968.97876 setpos y -5614.721191 setpos z -144.002655 setangle x 0 setangle y 0 setangle z 180.0002
I'm going to upload a bat file, so all you have to do is download that, then in the console type "bat bhfix" (without the quotation marks). Assuming these are the ones you had a problem with, to fix the floating glass and dish:
Spoiler:
Show
prid 1ac886 setpos x -2101.384766 setpos y -5241.04248 setpos z -193.095993 setangle x 0 setangle y 0 setangle z 97.4028
prid 1ac884 setpos x -2087.662598 setpos y -5260.514160 setpos z -191.885605 setangle x .2544 setangle y .1786 setangle z 97.4055
The game seems to be stupid when you try to have a bat file select and move several objects in the same bat file, so the one I upload will only move the bobblehead shelf.
What do you mean by " Did you move the stand at some point before installing?" Vault 81 doesn't include a workbench or any way of moving things. You can't move the original bobblehead stand. If things could be moved we'd all move the shelf and wouldn't be reporting this glitch. Eli has chosen not to repair the glitch, I respect that decision, so I don't use this mod. I only track this mod in case a fix is offered.
I didn't think you could, but I wasn't sure (been a while since I really played), so I asked. I have no idea why some people have issues with it being moved and others don't, since my game should have had it saved in the original positions if just having the room already unlocked was enough.
She doesn't include a fix because the only fix that works (beyond a bat file or a script that does the same) has the possibility to screw people over if they put bobbleheads in the original stand. Also, it means a third version of it to maintain (fourth, once she makes an all-in-one version of her faction housing overhauls), and that takes away time from other mods she might want to make and is incredibly tedious besides.
She also gave me editing permission on this mod, so when I say I uploaded a fix I mean I uploaded it to the files section of this mod. And that bat file will fix the location of the shelf, permanently, and it doesn't require an additional version of the mod to be maintained. All it does is place it in the exact position Eli moved it to.
If you really don't want to use the bat file, download and install Place Everywhere (pretty much essential if you spend any amount of time doing settlement building), spawn a workbench, move everything to where you want it (use the "ins" hotkey to toggle that feature on), then get rid of the workbench.
So it's a mid-playthrough-install-problem ... no biggie than
I didn't move anything, but I definitely looted that place before installing this mod. If that doesn't cout, I have a few other mods, that edit that cell (i.e. Fallout Loot Overhaul). Possibilities for this problem are literally endless
Thanks for the quick fix. Will try it soon but I need to hunt down some super mutants on the other side of the map first
Yes Thomas you are exactly right, i had this problem on my first character after installing it, because i had already unlocked the room. On my second character i didn't have this issue because i hadn't gone into Vault 81 yet!
Came across this Gem of a Player Home looking for something more pleasing to the eye than the plain jane vault room Gwen gives you, I've never had a reason to use the room cause it lacks total personality and storage is bland.
This mod does exactly as it says on the tin, and the pictures honestly don't do justice till you get in and actually look around. I just finished downloading your "Chestnut Lodge" Player Home and I am very excited to run over there and check it out as I'm thoroughly impressed at the time and detail that went into this one. You have set a high bar but somehow i feel this is child's play to you from what i see here and I'm gonna be pleased if not arguing with myself WHICH ONE i wanna main as my home.
Very well done Elianora, You have my endorsement and my respect.

The mod is on the bottom of my load order btw, just before the merged patch. I'm guessing it is because I installed it mid playthrough(?).
