    Major problem with Automatron DLC - specifically with Mechanist's Lair/Robco Sales Center. Game crashes when entering these locations, but only when this mod is enabled, all fine when disabled.

    Took me several hours to pinpoint the mod causing it, and it turned out to be this one.

    So I tried all settings within the mod to disable spaws, shifted the mod around in load order, no progress. Then started a new game with only Unofficial Patches (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4598) (V2.0.7) and went to Robco as soon as Automatron quests were available. Same thing - game crashes upon entering even on a (near) vanilla game as soon this mod is enabled, everything fine when disabled.

    Does anyone else experience this? I do not want to disable - it's great, it's almost essential for me as it adds so much fun to general gameplay....

      Nope, has nothing to with the map marker problem mentioned there.

      I just can't enter The Mechanist's Lair with this mod enabled, crashes quite fast, regardless if quest line completed or not, and regardless if entering via the two doors, teleport or via coc.
      Happens even on vanilla and ONLY this mod enabled, so exiting vault 111, enable mod, "coc DLC01Lair01" leads to crash, works fine if mod disabled....

    It's a shame this mod has pretty much stopped. More compatibility with modern mods would be awesome.

    I struggle to play the game without this mod now, and yet at the same time, I can't get it to run stable at all.

    I've just done a big reinstall, and have hundreds of mods running. Without WOTC, it runs perfect. Add WOTC, I crash.

    Mostly when changing zones.

    Slowly disabling mods with each crash, but I have no idea what is causing it.

    First I thought it was the Unique NPC and Monster mods., Then rifle replacers, and slowly down through the list. As the crashes are random, it's hard to work out exactly what is causing it. Could be any number of gun or armour mods..

    I assume it's a particular random spawn, but I don't know how to tell which.

    Anyone managed to solve any similar conflicts? Something is spawning, causing a crash, but I don't know what.

    both BoS and railroad agents are attacking Sanctuary, at the same time to boot... why is this happening? i'm not hostile with either of them and i cant see this event as being lore friendly. is this supposed to be happening?

      Yeah, it adds hostile BOS & Railroad NPCs. They're not really affiliated with their respective factions it seems, 'cause I've been attacked by both even when in their factions. I think there's a way to disable them? I can't check right now to verify, but you should be able to I believe.

      because of this, this mod is disgusting.
      NPS in X01 blue I have allies. They kill everything in the circle of themselves. I run over the corpses. Becoming is not interesting, and they do not turn off. they still appear and always with rockets.

      from memory in my last play through, they'd attack me or my towns if I wasn't part of their faction. ie. No such thing as neutral.

      I didn't let it bother me. I just killed them.

      Perhaps you're doing something kind of wrong then.. Your post doesn't really have any information in about exactly what it is you've done.

      Have you used other mods before? Did they start okay?

    s*** is way too hard at the start of the game..... left the vault and 2 feet later I was killed by 2 mole rats with mines strapped to them..... reloaded killed them and walked to sanctuary where super mutants were walking around in a pack of like 10...... DEAD... reloaded hide and let them pass LEGENDARY PACK of radroachs sees me hiding and DESTROY me... reloaded hid from roaches then went to Concord where it seemed that there were more raiders than usual so I just shot them in the back but nope the super mutants I had evaded from before flanked me flanking them... DEAD...... reloaded then continued to cheese the game by killing one dude and running away and even got the mutants to fight the raiders which was cool then a group of ghouls out of nowhere joined the fray and slaughtered me....... reload I decide to skip concord I guess till I am ready so I go to Cambridge which is FILLED with ghouls (HOLY s***) found Danse and the squad dead (knocked out) next to like 20 ghouls all legendary and pulled out my pistol to see one ghoul's health bar which was barely fazed by it and guess what happens next..... DEAD... so I am like "ok I can't start a new run with this mod so I try it on my level 30 save" not even 2 mins later a STACKED lvl 50 vertibird comes by shooting missles and nukes and kills me in like a second.... reload... I hide in a building and watch it leave, maybe like 20 mins later of killing dudes I hear it again and then I turn around and I am dead in a LITTERAL SECOND........ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you were hurt as a child!

      Y'know, you could adjust the settings of the mod. There are presets for a reason there sunshine, and the option of disabling certain features such as the vertibird gunships. Though, I will concede that yes, the Ghouls can go straight to Hell, as can those Vertibirds.

      Actually, the OP has a point. The only was to survive to get to Sanctuary is to boost your level. I'd go to at least 90. Starting at level 1 or 2 with this mod, forget it. You'll be dead before you run past the rusted gates. And even IF you boost yourself, no armor, and a pistol - it will be hard to get into Sanctuary to make armor and weapons. Good luck.

      What I did is get to 100 first, Make me armor and weapons then activated the mod. .

      Another option too is to use the mod along side Start Me Up which gives you the option to spawn in another area, with gear, at a higher level. For example you could spawn in Concord inside one of the abandoned homes, with some gear, at level 10, 15, 25, etc.

      Other options: Console Command some gear? or TIM or TGM for the first 20 minutes or so.
      My favored option: Use the batch files found in The Battles of Lexington and Concord (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8871) and run the Concord battle. Stay out of the fight! Once the fighting dies down, loot the field of the Gunners. They pack a lot of decent gear. Is it immersive? Sure it is. There is no reason there would not be some sorta turf war happening at the same time you are trying to rescue a bunch of refugees.

      Actually... to start... just use sneak a lot. Pick your fights.

      You get free gear, just by waiting for enemies to kill each other.

      Don't just run into every town, every fight, thinking you'll win. And when you run from a fight, run the way you came, not forward. You'll just start more spawns.

      I actually really enjoy the start times more than the later stages.. Hiding behind closed doors while you hope the group of mech's pass you by, instead of one shotting them all.

      And yes, sometimes, you come out into absolute crap and you die.. reloading is not all that hard.

    Any way to permanently drop the configuration holotape? I like the mod otherwise, but hate seeing this holotape keep spawning into my inventory after I leave it at home. Would just change whichever record in FO4Edit that does this, but cannot find it.

    Unfortunately destroys the main questline and uninstall does not fix without starting a new game. This mod permanently makes synths friendly towards the player and settler factions, effectively making them literal mindless robots. You can walk up and shoot them dead in the face and they just stand there like nothing happened. This, in effect, breaks the Kellogg quest "Reunions", and presumably every other synth-involved quest in the game. If you're looking at this mod, please finish the game before installing this, or don't install it at all. Hopefully the new mod won't have issues such as this. Such a shame, really.

      This file: Institute Friendly Faction Script Fix Reupload, which is like the 3rd row down fixes that issue. How could you miss that?

    How to disable the appearance of allies in the X01 and Raiders?
    they appear everywhere, they are stranded from a rocket launcher and they kill everyone. Plant korvega cleaned independently.

    How to do what would be more diverse factions raidbrow in its usual rusty power armor made of reinforcement, with less ghouls, robots and animals, and the frequent random appearance of raiders?
    I can not understand the settings

    is there any way of turning friendly/hostility stuff back to vanilla? you can manually change them but that doesn't fix the problem, i was just doing fort hegan and when I confronted kellog he and the synths were still hostile <as I set them> and I couldn't speak to him
