Rebuild AIO Bug Report Area
Aurie passed development of Rebuild AIO to me. The comments and reports on Rebuild AIO are closed because Aurie is done with the project and, I assume, not wanting pings for a project they're no longer developing. So I made this area for reports instead.

Currently my primary focus is Chapter 2 of Isles of New England, but once that is finished reviving Rebuild will become my primary focus, at which point I'll review all bug reports and make sure to fix as many as possible.

Thank you

"What are your plans for reviving rebuild?"

  • Finish and add Rebuild Hangman's Alley.
  • Add coverage to County Crossing, Abernathy Farm, Outpost Zimonja. As these areas have nothing to rebuild they will instead be given detailed scrapping.
  • Maybe make and add Rebuild Boston Airport. Would slightly expand the borders and add full settlement functionality in addition to repairs for the main room the settlement is in.
  • Maybe visit Mechanist's Lair and Vault-88.
  • Add working lighthouse functionality to Kingsport, ported from the Isles of New England mod.
  • Reverse pre-scrapping. Some locations in the rebuild AIO are prescrapped, ie trash and such is already removed before the player gets there. I prefer to have the settlements be found in their vanilla state, but to make all the trash easily scrappable by the player.
  • Numerous small bug fixes, drawing from what I find and what's posted here.
  • Improved scrapping at most currently implemented locations.
  • Merged files and BA2s. No need for multiple downloads or a "Shared Resources" mod. Improves ease of installation and reduces slot usage.
  • Add scrapping to most vanilla objects, replacing the need for Scrap Everything and related mods, while being done in a lower impact way.

I've already done some work on the above, but as stated, main production wont start until I finish my other project.

Update: While I’m not responding to most of the reports here I am cataloging them and will be investigating them as I conduct my revival of rebuild.

    Thank you for your reports.

I'm having an issue with the mod itself. I had a problem with a different mod and I ended up disabling all of the mods I had installed, including the Rebuild AIO and the Shared Resources. When I re-enabled both of those using my mod manager (Vortex), the structures I've repaired using the mod now have missing walls (the Red Rocket near Sanctuary Hills as an example). In Sanctuary, entire houses and the road itself went missing as well. I tried removing the mods and reinstalling them, but that didn't work. How can I fix this? I don't know what else to do and I'm hoping that this is a fixable issue and someone will be able to help me. Thank you in advance :))

If you disable a MOD that you have installed in the middle of the same gameplay, your save data will be corrupted.
Unfortunately, corrupted data cannot be repaired and reinstalling the mod may actually make the situation worse. We recommend that you start over with a save file from before you disabled the mod.

    Hello
Im using PRP74 on a very stable LO, and I really wanted to use the rebuild AIO series.
However, no matter where I place the previs file, i keep getting flickering buildings in Bunker Hill, and other places.
    1) If you could post a guide on how to do the LO with prp and Rebuild AIO, that would be awesome.
    2) do i need to redo my LODGEN and synthesis patcher once this is installed?

      Use this for now, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/85104?

Aurie tried to do a thing where the file would work with or without prp, but her experiment didn’t succeed. When I release the revival I’ll be adding a prp version natively.

Without even noticing this article, I installed the AIO and continued playing for long periods of time.
It appears that this fix replaces the original Previs patch, but would it be okay to install it midway through a playthrough?

      (Edit)
I've also installed the Rickety Bridge patch in the options file, but there are reports that it doesn't work with the POST there...

Yes precombines/previs are safe to swap out at any time.

      Thank you for your reply.
I installed it to check it out, and it fixed the visual issues I was having around Bunker Hill.
I was worried because some people in the comments section said that it didn't work properly when using the Rickety Bridge patch, but at least as far as I could see, it didn't seem to be a problem.

      I've found the ANSWER.
It's at the bottom of the list, if anyone's that tortured... to see nothing.

CTD in Sanctuary - strangely it occurs only after killing a few settlers and having everyone in the settlement turn on me. I wasn't doing anything directly related to the mod, but a few of the houses in my save are rebuilt from using the functions of the mod.

tested it many times and was able to reproduce the crash. Only after disabling both the AIO and Shared Resources, the CTD stopped occurring.

Sounds amazing, I'm really looking forward to it.

There is an issue I personally have with Rebuild AIO Jamaica Plain, where it shows a much larger border/build area, the houses are rebuilt with no issues, but I can only build things within the old non-extended limits.
I just thought I'd put this issue here, incase anyone else has them too.

I'm having the exact same issue - the Jamaica Plan building area is pretty much 10 feet around the workshop, even though the green workshop border appears correct.

have you found a solution for this bug/issue?

I was so ready to update Jamaica Plain but the borders don't match up so I can't build outside the invisible game boarders.
There are a few mods which extend the build area, but I'm they're bringing their own bugs AND I'm pretty sure it would conflict with Rebuild JP.

I get previs issues (flickering object) but only in Croup Manor. And yes I put the previs esp of the mod into the bottom of my load order. When I remove the rebuild mods all the previs issues are gone and I probably don't have any mods conflicting with the Croup Manor area.

Also, when I try to select the house marker to rebuild the garage in Jamaica Plains, I don't get a messagebox like in other settlements, it just grabs the marker and moves it around. So I can't rebuild Jamaica Plains

It might be a conflict with other mods, but I tried The Rebuild Collection -AIO recently. Loved it initially. However, after repairing several buildings in the expanded Jamacia Plain settlement, returning to the main Jamacia Plain area is causing many items (roads, buses, stairs) to become invisible and/or flicker and/or render poorly. I don't know if you are intending to work on this aspect, but I thought I should mention it.
