I am having an issue with setting a home for Dogmeat. No matter what place I set to as home, he seems to always return to Craterside Supply for some reason. It's not a huge problem considering Megaton is safe enough, and I can just use the whistle to get him back instantly... but does anyone have any idea what the cause could be for his sudden infatuation with good ol' Moira? lol
Can this be ported for New Vegas? I really want to use this for my playthrough of FO3 ( I use TTW since I play on Windows 10), and couldn't find a TTW compatible version anywhere.
Hello.. WHen I had the CRAFT version active my game would crash each and everytime, turn it off it 'd be ok again turn it on, and it'd crash again =( , so I'm betting You Need Craft Mod =/
. Crafting version REQUIRES the CRAFT) mod.
My bad mis read the description ... =_= Downloaded the non crafting version and game starts just fine... Ok, After going in game buying thepack and dog meat leather armor , when I finally caught up with dogmeat at the scrap yard, he was partially invisible and a multitude of other colours / textures , and even put the armor on him and or the saddles didnt fix it , made things worse , I use fomm to install after manual download .. So uninstalling... Love all the other ideas just not how textures weren't working for me ...
I know this mod hasn't seen an update in a couple years but is there anyway to get the saddlebags without the teddybare? why would that be the prominent item for him to be carrying? lol
Old comment, I know, but maybe someone else will have the same question.
The teddy bear can be removed very easily with NifSkope (http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope). Download and install it (I am using 1.1.3, but it also works with 2.0 alpha and newer) and open data\meshes\cratures\dog\dogwornpack.nif with it. In the 3D view, click on the teddy bear to select it, you will see its wire frame. Right-Click on it and choose "Block --> Remove Branch", and confirm if a message pops up. The teddy bear will be deleted. You might also want to do the same with the bottle, because it looks odd without the teddy bear. These are the only parts that can easily be removed in NifSkope, because the entire rest of the pack is a single object. Save the file and you are good to go. The crate on top of the pack is now empty. You could put something else in there, but that's a little more complicated because it would require skinning.
