Good news/ Bad news with V1.9.4 The good news is only one of the three files causes issues. The bad news is that it's the ItemsConfig file which does most of the magic.
Thanks for the info. With it, the fix is relatively easy. In the ItemsConfig file change: for Item Id: 20 (the T2 pistol) the TechTreeParent: from Pistol to SMG (line 1517) for Item Id: 35 (T2 Laser pistol) the TechTreParent: to LaserSMG (line 2147) After that, copy from the original file the items 805 (line 11314) - 808 (line 11539) into the modded file. Save, and it works. At least for me.
yeah , it requires a new build from vanilla files . i was about to start a new version, when i saw the new update announcement and prosponed it, because it takes me some time to mod stuff and then , i would have to start all over again.
during this time, i was testing some tweaks on Reforged Eden and testing new things. but there was already some other tweaked version of reforged Eden . i did not published my tweaked version because i was asking and waiting for an answer about releasing a tweaked version of it.
i do have a question about this mod : do people prefer this version that is compatible with vanilla (as it keeps the vanilla id's) or would people like a tweaked version of Reforged Eden (which would be released on steam workshop) ?
in any case, i would probably release a new update in some weeks , but there's been a wile since last significative empyrion release and new update might come just before a new game update, which means, a lot of work to just have to update again.
How did you edit the amount of resources harvested with the survival tool? The default is like 2 or 3 ore from say a copper ore rock. With your mod, it was like 8 or 9 but the new update reset it.
the new update makes a new start a bit less grind . replaces 3 vanilla files (you can make a backup of them)
there is an internal error after changing some turrets , but they seem to work fine , so ... just click continue.
the game will have a new update in 2-3 weeks and some times, there's actual game internal bugs that need to be fixed, so it might be from that. i intend on narrowing down the issue and polish the issue but it might be from the game itself, as there have been changes in the items and how they can be tweaked that maybe cause some issues.
yes . it's related with changing the turrets . i will try to narrow it on next update . but might be actual game issue so i'll try to find out. as i have said before , i noticed no ill effects from the "error message" so i upload it before next update hits .

I could not get it to work on 1.4 it just tends to crash or throw error msgs when starting a new game or looking at dead NPC's Inv. But I like the idea of this mod it sounds cool so I hope it get's a update soon.
Go to the location of the Dedicated server (example is steam/steamapps/common/Empyrion - Dedicated Server) There should be a 'Content' folder, open that. In the content folder there should be a 'configuration' folder. Drop this config into that folder and replace.

Mod works but I cannot spawn any new items and get a lot of internal errors. Flight is also disabled.
i might still add a few things , like increased door HP for cv's and sv's/HV's

i need to make a full build for 1.4 or maybe mod reforged eden . one of them or maybe both. not sure.

alpha 1.3 is already on experimental , after it goes to stable and spends 2-3 weak for bug fixing , I'll see about updating it with that .
i try to match it, if possible . there are a few other ideas i have to add, but not all are possible .
