Hello, could you upload the ready-made Regulation.bin file which will already contain these two mods? I just don’t understand modding and don’t know where to put this CSV file))
Hello, can you use Significantly Better Lod Restored CVSs for merging? I noticed that the distance of detail drawing decreased after using the Regulation.bin file you merged.
From my own experience always start with a fresh vanilla regulation file. I have noticed when importing further CSVs onto an already modified regulation bin file that the changes do not happen even though you can see the changes when you get in game the changes do not apply. A fresh vannila bin when started fixes that.
I imported my CSVs first and then hit save all modified params. I then imported the FDSR CSVs.
Both alter the PartsDrawParam but thanfully they do not alter the same fields so this is a very easy merge with no manual editing.
I located what was my mistake. The FDSR mod makes changes to Row ID 49800: Boundry Distance (lv01_BorderDist) = 20 Play Distance (lv01_PlayDist) = 5
However, while importing these 2 field values, apparently I also changed the values for the rest of the rows, removing the changes applied by SBLR.
So, to fix this, I remerged again the PartsDrawParam CSV by importing only the field "isPointLightShadowSrc" and then manually changed the 2 field values i mentioned before for Row 49800.
I tested the mods again, and now both Dynamic Shadows and LODs seem to be working correctly.
I have already updated the CSV I shared on my first comment with the fixed version.
When you get that corrupted save error, you can try loading your save without any modded regulation.bin installed and allow the game to save again. After that, you can reinstall the modded regulation.bin and now your save should load. This always works for me.
Wish I've could endorse the mod, but after testing and isolating the probable causes this mod severely impacts the game's performance and thus I can't recommend it.
I get a drop of 20 + fps drop and thats on a 3090TI with frame gen mod running, its a killer mate....maybe on a 4090 it wouldn't be such an issue ....but i won't play a game that literally demands high frame rate because of all the actions just to see distant grass and trees.
You can merge regulation bins yourself with Elden Ring Mods Loader https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/5441 Use the updatet program which works with version 1.16 DLC https://github.com/scristopher/ERModsMerger
I merged the regulation bin provided by SupremeKingGaiseric below, from October 28 2024, with the bin used by ERR (Elden Ring Reforged). Easy peasy, don't even need need Smithbox ;)
Hi there, You're the GOAT, your mod totally fixes the problem this game has, and for me I can't play without it... problem is that I've downloaded an older versions via Steam console using this: How to download Elden Ring version 1.10.1 and disable automatic updates at Elden Ring Nexus - Mods and Community, because since 1.12, there are lots of graphical issues, terrain shadow flickering, light disapearin/reapearing (Liurnia) Version I use is 1.10.1, and if I add your mod (1.16 version), it says that app version is 1.10.1 but regulation version become 1.16 And because of that, I can start a game (no popin at all, beautiful) but then when I quit, I can't load any saves Without the mod, no problems... So, u see me coming, would it be possible to make a 1.10.1 "significantly better lod restored" version, or if it's too much, tell me how to do it by myself, it would be sooo nice, without your mod, too much shadow popin, bush popin, etc... Hope you can read me, thx a lot for your great mod and work
It looks great but I downloaded it and I'm having some suttering can you please help me figure out the cause please? I'm running it on a ryzen 5600, an rx 6650 xt, 32 (2x16) ddr4 3200 mhz My guess is that the drops are caused by either my hdd or my cpu, it has PBO turned off
You're right, maybe I should get a 5700x In the meantime I want to try the mod without the extended grass param, apparently that setting tanks performance
it's the shadows on the trees that tank the most. Just to touch on the grass even though grass lod range is increased the game engine doesnt change the grass it always pops in regardless. You could also try the OG lod restored in main files. Might have better performance
I merged the restored LOD CSVs except the grass and the shadow trees in my regulation file, it goes smoothly at 1080 maximum settings, thanks I'd suggest you add a recommended specs on the mod's description, only to know which system can actually run this mod in all its glory
I can see a decent amount of rows are untouched in PartsDrawParam (mainly 47000+) same for GrassLodRangeParam (310-417)
it technically change all rows in the CSV, but some with the same vanilla values the two original mods didn't change these values at all, so I guess these are new DLCs areas, that are untouched and you exported all rows (even unmodified ones) so that's why they are in the CSV

I have had to revert back to 572.70. This is most up to date driver that works for me with no issues.
Just an FYI if you get issues. There is nothing I can do it's driver related.
Hi, I was finally able to merge the conflicting CSV file from Force Dynamic Shadows Reborn.
Here is the merged CSV (PartsDrawParam.csv) for those who need it.
And here is the merged Regulation.bin.
fixed SBLR + FDSR 1.13.2 MERGE

This always works for me.
- Go to your game folder and locate your modded "regulation.bin" inside your mod folder.
- Cut and paste it in a different folder, outside the game folder just for now. Basically, just move it somewhere else.
- Run the game and load your save.
- Run around for a few seconds, maybe change your equiped weapon, just to "force" the game to save.
- Exit the game.
- Locate your modded "regulation.bin" and paste it again inside your mod folder.
- Run the game again and load your save.
This is what I always do whenever I get the "Corrupted Save" error message after making edits to my regulation.bin.Use the updatet program which works with version 1.16 DLC https://github.com/scristopher/ERModsMerger
