This mod is an overhaul changing several gameplay mechanics, inspired by sekiro and ninja style movements. Includes animation changes for most consumables and spellcasting, now focused on mobility and seen as “skills” inspired by sekiro’s prosthetic arm. Now also includes a Ranged Weapons rework, new movesets for daggers, scythe and staff, and 8 new AOW. It uses Sekiro Style Deflections and Moveset Animation Remix's (with Sto3IV fixes) as a base with my own edits , and changed a lot of animations to make the gameplay feel unique and fluid.

This is my personal version of Elden Ring I had in my head, the 0.9 update brings a little closer that idea. 1.0 drops post-DLC
Here’s a list of the major changes:
  • New animations for spellcasting (ALL 171 SPELLS EDITED), most of them can be casted with no movement restriction (or are casted with a mobile animation), designed to be agile and stylish but trying to keep them as balanced as possible. SEAL CAN ONLY BE EQUIPPED ON THE LEFT HAND. ALSO HAVE SOME SELF CONTROL, YOU WILL BE VERY AGILE WITH THESE SPELLS, SO GOING WITH A +9 SEAL MAYBE WON'T BE THE INTENDED EXPERIENCE AND WILL MAKE YOU OP (that said, play how you want, having fun is the goal) The same for Daggers, Scythes and Staffs 

 

  • Also Ragdagon's Icon talisman may bug some spells, you may avoid using it because most spells are already fast
  • All spells use 1 slot, base memory increased to 6 (max to 12) and lowered the stat requirement of all spells to a maximum of 30-40 (to recommend not to overlevel) **(Spells damage has been tweaked for some spells that were weaker than they should)**
  • Seals are now able to cast sorceries as well, and added INT scaling to seals.


    
  • Consumables and throwables overhauled, turned into “skills” meaning that they become reusables, cost FP and have new throwing animations, and vanilla tools now cast a unique skill. This includes Throwing Daggers, Fan Daggers, all Darts, Explosive and Poisonous Stones (also Clumps), Glintstone and Cuckoo Scraps, Pots, Spark/Poison/Acid Aromatic, Kukri, Gravity Stone Fan and Chunk, Frenzyflame Stone, Omen Bargains, Wraith Calling Bell, Ancestral Infant’s Head and Bewitching Branch


    
  • RANGED WEAPONS REWORKED: Bows animations changed, very agile archery.aiming with a longbow turns you into "stealth" mode (not actually invisible, but pretty fast) which lets you shoot with motion, making bow gameplay a bit different. also reworked speed of bows' AOWs. also sped up usage of great bows and ballistas
  • Light bows are now Gut's hand crossbow from Berserk, can only be equipped in left hand, weapon model from here
  • New (simple) handgun moveset that replaces the Pulley Crossbow with Isshin pistol animations. Works best with explosive bolts. Kalé might sell them for a good price. Pistol models from Guns Mod - No Reload 


    
  • Sekiro-like deflections from Sekiro Deflection and Dodge which is a version of the mod made by doujzc, with my own edits
  • Sekiro movement and dodge, backstep is now a crouch dodge (copied the idea from ERReforged), changed some block stance animations, changed flasks animations, changed light load running animation to a ninja style
  • New light weapon riposte animation
  • New animations for the daggers moveset inspired by nightjar ninja and mist raven / raptor of the mist effects. Also included left hand animations
 

  • NEW STAFF MOVESET. They are not useless anymore. They cast unique spells with each different attack. (1h and 2h same moves)



  • NEW SCYTHES MOVESET. I recommend not to level up much this one. Pretty strong.




    
  • New AOW "Lightning Finesse" replaces Stamp (Sweep) and Storm Kick. L2 to do a parry and follow with R2 when the foot touch the ground to perform a quick lightning slash
  • New AOW "Discus Skating" replaces Lightning Ram. Can cancel with anything in almost any moment of the animation, very useful for mobility
  • New AOW "Golden Blink" replaces Gravitas. This is the similar to Radagon's warp
  • NEW AOW "Radagon Phalanx" replaces Glintblade Phalanx
  • NEW AOW "Ashina Stance" replaces Square Off. a blocking stance with sekiro and follow ups. this is a way for blocking when not two handing.
  • NEW AOW "El Vonilo" replaces Vacuum Slice. Cast the lazer of Astel
  • NEW AOW "Arise" replaces Seppuku. Useful for enemies in front of you at close range
  • NEW AOW "Eclipse" replaces Stamp (Upward Cut). a flashy skill I did just for fun


    
  • Raptor of Mist AOW is now a faster dodge with Isshin animations.
  • Might Shot and Enchanted Shot AOWs now use Genichiro's 4 shots animation and follow the same bow aiming stance mechanic
  • The “Bandit” starter class now has new items to get started to try some of the new additions of this mod
  • Arsenal Charm now gives x3 equip load to ensure light load and lots of stamina regen, Blessed Dew talisman now also restores FP over time
  • Some more little tweaks to some bullets and added some animation cancels

If you are only interested in the spells or consumables only, there is a file you can download with just these changes (Standalone version), and there are available the files for merging (in the Optional Files tab) along with some instructions of what I’ve modded. Feel free to add anything of this to your overhaul or whatever (please credit)  I'll upload merge files of the updated mod when I can get the time

Strongly recommended to play with more FOV (I use 70-80), I'm using the Adjust the FOV mod
If you want the blue lightning like in the showcase, use this mod: Natural Lightning
If interested in the UI, I'm using Minimal HUD setting 16
I also recommend to play with weapons with animated glow mod

INSTALLATION:

Steam version:
Download ModEngine2, unpack it and add the content of the “mod” folder you downloaded (from the files section of this page) to the “mod” folder of your unpacked ModEngine2 folder.
Open the file laucheldenring.bat with Steam open to launch the game with the mod

For non Steam versions, follow this tutorial
