Solves yet another problem of PC ports designed for controllers making your character to always stay in the center of the screen instead of being repositioned left or right when moving into the corresponding directions. Mouse camera controls are precise and easy, any type of automatic adjustments are confusing and add unnecessary laggy/floaty feeling.

Installation

install with Fluffy Mod Manager (make sure to read the author's instructions). If it's not installing from the 7z, unpack it manually and drag the pak file itself to the manager window.

Recommended mods and in-game settings for better PC experience

Mouse Wheel Movement Speed Grand Cruise Control
Stay Centered - DD2
- Proper Camera Controls for PC
- Simple Camera FOV
- Disable camera tracking and auto-adjust in Options -> Camera.
- Set camera speeds and mouse camera speeds to max values (or close to - depending on your mouse sensitivity settings).
- Set camera distance in between middle and max values.

A general note on PC ports with this feature

I don't know who had that brilliant idea in the first place that is starting to become a common one like it's originating from one dev who's moving from team to team. It might be useful to compensate for the lack of camera controls with that tank turret motion of the console controller, but on PC such a constant character movement from left to right is confusing and results in nausea.

Just imagine that in your car instead of a driver seat you've got a rail and each time you turn left your seat goes right and vice versa to give you a better view (supposedly).
