    can anyone please teach me on how to merge mods with the assets? what file arc to use?

      all the arc files i have edited are included in the download. you just have to locate the arc files with the same names as mine in your own game directory, unpack them with the arc tool, overwrite with the assets in this mod, repack them and its good to go

      If you look at the previous mod that inspired him to make this mod, they revealed where to put them in.

      I also try to get this s#*! to work on my end with the other mods, but continue to fail.

      I'm trying to use the Arc tool to install the following mods with this one:

      Maelstrom's MME Series 1 - Sprinting Stamina Drain - 75% Reduced Drain Rate (I like to run)
      Maelstrom's MME Series 2 - Carry Weight - Carry Weight +200% (I'm a hoarder)
      Maelstrom's MME Series 4 - Jump Height - Jump Height +25%
      Maelstrom's MME Series 5 - Status Effect Tweaks - Both - 8Hr Weal & Prosperity
      Maelstrom's MME Series 6 - Experience Tweaks - Version 2
      Better Augments

      These are the mods that I am trying to use with yours. The lack of instructions  is frustrating on how to merge this with other mods.

      Same issue here. No idea how to merge it as there is no folder called "assets" in either the game directory itself nor in the folder where I use the DDDA Tool to extract the ARC.

    i can't manage to install correctly the mod. I instaled it with Vortex, and i only see the Xbox buttons. I'm using the Dualsense, but i doubt it's because of that.

    Any help would be apreciated

      You have to install this manually, it's pretty complicated.

    Works by setting controller to "Steam Input", otherwise the Square and Triangle were switched.

    in which arc file is the "assets" folder am I not likely to find any? I want to merge the mod

      "assets" are folder name i gave myself.
      i used file search to find the asset files within each arc file.

    I need to know which files specifically are changed so I can merge this mod with others. I already have mods changing the game_main.ark, bbsrpg_core.ark, title.ark, and bbs_rpg.ark. 

    Usually, people simply upload the repacked mod with the original files included. So simply unpacking with ArcTool and overwriting doesn't work since you could be overwriting other modified files with vanilla files due to the other mod author having not modified all files.

    I'm copying this from the other mod that changes the buttons from Xbox360 to PlayStation since I assume both follow the same principles, but please correct me if I'm wrong, but are these the files modified by this mod too? (except the ones in nativePC\rom\gui as they are not included in the archive here)

      i have also included ones from /gui, they are in the /gui folder.
      Yes, it is the method i used. 
      the assets i used are all included in the /asset folder. i compared each instance of them in vanilla arc files with a repeating one with winmerge and they are identical. so i replaced all of them with the same asset.
      basically if you upack the lot of all arcs i have in "mod itself" folder and use file search to replace each instance with your version it should work.

    Thank you for porting this ^^

    However, as in other posts of the same kind of mod, the Square and Triangle are reversed/swaped, as are the L1with L2, and R1 with R2...

    Is there any fix for this?

      https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/15 - Use this mod and use the ALT version. If you have a ps5 controller like me, you will still see numbers for the start and select buttons but everything else should be good.

      Do note the mod you linked is also a mod created before 2016 steam update so it won't work on modern steam version.
      this mod uploaded by me works on my copy of the game without the bug you mentioned which is the latest steam version.
      I am also using DS4windows tho. I am not sure if the bug you mentioned is due to your game being GOG version or that you are using ps5 controllers or that you are not using any kind of xinput wrappers like steaminput or ds4wndows.
      Could you provide more information? What controllers are you using and are you using the steam version? Are you using steaminput or ds4windows?

      If you are using DS4windows, then set it to recognize your controller as an xbox 360 controller instead of recognizing it as a ps4 controller. That fixed the issue for me.
      Edit: in case you don't know how, go into profiles and go to the "other" setting, there you can set it to emulate a 360 controller instead.
