Version 2.02 of the mod is now up, with a few bug fixes and balance changes. A new feature I've added is the ability to do unarmed attacks, scaling with your Strength and Dexterity. See the readme for details.
I've also made the FBproject for the mod available, if you're familiar with using Frosty editor and want to tinker with the mod.

Commenting to first thank the Author for the Mod, I tried to play this game a couple of times before, but the gameplay just doesn't cut it for me, if it wasn't for this mod, I wouldn't play it, so thank you.
To anyone struggling to apply the mod, you need to get the Frosty Mod Fix utility and launch from there, since Origin is gone and some people will play this on EA App, Frosty Mod Fix will give you the option to launch it from that platform, launching it via the Frosty Mod Manager will launch the vanilla game without the mods.
You still need to add the Mod via Frosty Mod Manager but use the utility to select the platform, hope this is helpful to someone.
I finished the main campaign and started descent, but for some reason the game crashes when loading up certain zones in the DLC. I've tested and found that the game works fine with all mods but this one active, does anyone know why?
Does the class balance get better after I'm a bit higher level? I'm currently in the hinterlands and have messed around with low level daggers, great sword, and mage. The mage seems broken. Daggers and great sword seemed to run out of stamina way too fast while also doing less than half the damage of the mage, while mage also gets so much more focus from autos. I'm playing on hardest difficulty for reference
First off I wanted to give a big thank you for this mod. It's literally the only way I can enjoy this game lol. I started playing the descent dlc yesterday tho and enemies seem to be ridiculously tanky for some reason and I wanted to ask if this is intentional or a bug on my side ? All other parts of the game seem fine even the frostback enemies. If this is intentional would it be possible for me to tweak their health myself or is this really complicated ? I can't make sense of where to edit enemy health in frosty editor.
Anyways, I held off on the dlc for now and thank you again for this mod!
I think what you're running into there is the health regeneration buff they get from alpha units. Hurlock Alphas, Genlock Alphas and Emissaries all grant health regeneration to the lesser Darkspawn units, and Hurlock Alphas provide additional armour and poise on top of that. The idea was you would have to take out the alphas first, though in retrospect I probably overdid it.
IDKY but i cant launch the game even with just this mod applied in the mod manager but its only a problem when i try to launch this mod any fix? Edit: nvm i fixed it

I launched the game with just the base mod and it works fine but the second I launch with the text file without fail I get the message above. Any idea how to fix this?

Update: Fixed I got rid of all mods that changed character appearance and now it works, for anyone else having this issue install the darksouls mod first and foremost then any other mods 1 by 1 to see which are compatible incase you run across something like this.
A similar error. I disabled all other mods, leaving only the DSC main and the text, anyway this error. If disable the text, the game starts

Just loaded up the mod in my game and it works on my end(though my Frosty version is 1.0.6.3). Is your game in English? The text file is only made for the English version of the game and I'm not sure how it would behave in other languages.

I had a problem with the Xbox controller because when trying to interact by pressing A during combat my character dodges instead of interacting. is there any solution for this?
I've run into an issue where the text in the menus doesn't display properly and for the life of me I can't figure out how to fix it. It's like the text is replaced but it's broken somehow. I definetely checked that I have the text file installled. I checked. Many times.
Really improves the action combat and build variety however the scaling is all over the place. Enemies die in one shot and one shot me, even with heavy armour + Ice armour.
