Thx. Everytime I activate your mod origin tells me I'm allready playing, but the game won't start. It works fine without it. I have no other camera angle altering mods installed.

      Hello!

This problem is still relevant. DAIMM and Frosty with this mode enabled prevent DAI from loading. The game is hanging in the processes. I have a Game of the year edition.

My little investigation led me to this result:

DAIMM tells about patch 13, but my official version is 12 (DAIMM version 0.59).

      My version: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/Ms1f/h2DXpKZun
      File version: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/2ZAt/6Pz5mXCEF
      Strange DAIMM patch version: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/5psK/wt8Mu6RTn

Frosty starts the game, but leaves it in the process (Frosty version 1.0.4.5).

      File in Frosty: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/GKup/o53s84cTL
      File in processes: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/KQXS/XnF8E5bMV

I have russian version of the game, maybe the problem lies in this?

Please, tell me, what i do wrong?

Yeah it sounds like I need to reupload the DAIMM one. The Frosty one should work provided you delete "ModData" folder everytime before you launch the game with mods.

      Hello!

      Thanks for the answer!

Indeed, if you delete this folder, the game will start ... but without the included mod. Strange, in the settings of the key assignment I do not see the item "Eye position".

I suspect that the problem may lie in the fact that I am using DAIMM for mods and have launched Frosty on top.

There are also suspicions of Windows 10.

I meant, you need to delete "ModData" everytime before you run the game through the Frosty Mod Manager (which will therefore ask to create the ModData folder everytime when you press "apply mods")

running Frosty on top of DAIMM is no issue unless the mods edits the same files
also i'm on windows 10. i'll find some time to reupload the DAIMM later this week.

    Heyas :)
I'd love to use the mod, but I'm having the following bug; When I try to start the game, it freezes mid launch. I check Task Manager and the game's RAM stat is stuck, and the CPU stat barely twitches in the 12-13% range. I'm using the DAIM version, and do not have any Frosty mods, or the Frosty mod system, installed. In fact I tried to run it alone, no other mods, and got the same bug. Also, I tried the 90 and 110 FOV's

    Any help appreciated :)

No idea, latest patch. Tried looking at the main EXE's program properties but it says version 1.0.0.0
How can I figure out which version I'm running?
Also, I installed the previous (Discontinued) version of this mod and it works perfectly. I would prefer to use this one though because it seems a ton better. However some difference in the code may help ID the issue.

    Hey Wavebend,

First of all, great work on this mod! I am however having a slight issue with it in combination with yourn multiplayer skill tree mod. If I load this mod after your multiplayer skt mod, the new skills disappear. If I load this mod before your multiplayer skt mod, I am no longer able to strafe left or right in first person mode. Do you have any clues as to how to fix this?

they're not compatible mods, because they both override the same files. i'd have to make a compilation mod that merges the changes together. the multiplayer tree mod needs a bit of work but i'm not sure i wanna go back to it anymore

Ah okay, thank you for the response. I can imagine that the multiplayer tree mod is a pain to work on. It is a really welcome addition to the game though, great work!

I am currently replaying the game and your mod has improve so much my experience with the game that thank you very very much for your work!! I can't use this version with DAIMM (it said me this mod is incompatible with my patch) but even with the previous version the result is really good, so thank you again ;)

Thx for the work wavebend. Open world RPGs are my favorite type of game. I grew up with Atari and Intellivision as a kid and have a great appreciation for game development these days. The biggest immersion breaker for me is lack of first person perspective in games today. First person simply can't work in many situations, but should be an option out of combat, etc. in many instances. I've been a fan of the Dragon Age games, so ………...thx for your effort. Good work.

It's a nice mod indeed but is sadly incompatible with enhanced camera mod. I recommend adding the enhanced camera mod features in this mod to make it more appealing if possible. Also i really like your sprint animation so can you please make a separate mod just for sprint (i know there already is one) but i liked yours better.
    Thanks

I could make a different mod for Sprint, but since Sprint alone changes so many files it would make most mods incompatible with it..

    Hi,

first of, this is some excellent work!

This seems to be using vertical FOV though, so standard 90 that a lot of us is used to, is actually about 64-65 on 16:10 resolution. 60 works fine for me too. Speaking of FOV, sprinting FOV is way too high. Would prefer it not changing at all. I hate to ask you to pack twice as many versions every time you release an update, as there is enough already. Unless you don't mind. But if you do, maybe just list the values that need to be changed in project file and nitpicks like me can compile it ourselves. :)

One quirk is with toggle sprinting (noticed it in 3rdP for now). If you cancel sprinting in any other way then LShift (i.e. releasing forward key), you have to press Shift to first deactivate sprint and then you can sprint again. If anything can be done to remedy that, it would be great. Maybe even switch to hold instead of toggle if possible. Not a huge deal though.

You also incorporated you Speed Launch mod, not that I'm complaining but you may want to put that into description. Unless you already did and I'm blind.

Overall, really good stuff. Sure movement is a bit floaty, ranged attacks do nothing to the player and whatnot but I am seriously impressed with what you manged to do with Frosty. Keep it up, this is great!

Thanks for the serious reply. Yeah there's still a lot to work on, for sure. I wanted Sprint to be a toggle so it would work while jumping (I thought it would be neat to have your momentum carry into your jump). Today is the first time I've played extensively with my mod and I see more stuff to fix, sprinting is a bit broken, the combat state seems to disable on its own after fleeing from enemies, stuff like that breaks the mod. I don't know if I even want to put more work into this at this point. Not that I don't know how to fix these things, I'm not sure I'm bothered enough to do it when so few people care about this mod in the first place. Also added a note about the Speed Launch, but hey if people enjoy watching the startup logo I better know about it.

If you really care about changing the FOV,
      1. Open the project in Frosty
      2. Open the camera file "spexplore_rigb"
      3. You should see a dropdown menu at the top, there should be 4 items. From top to bottom, the 1st item is third person exploration camera, 2nd item is the 1P combat camera, 3rd is 1P exploration normal camera, 4th is 1P exploration sprint camera.
So either go in the 3rd or 4th (normal or sprint, respectively) and set the FOV there. It should be very obvious where it has to be edited (you edit a field called 'FOV').

Hey I get it, I make mods myself for bunch of different games, albeit nothing on your level. So don't torture yourself unnecessarily.
But I am absolutely certain a lot of people is tracking this mod and waiting for a fleshed out version. To be honest with you, I only tried this mod in this state because I know, to a degree, how... challenging it can be modding frostbite games with tools available and I wanted to see for myself despite known issues. So if you do decide to polish this up, the numbers will rise for sure.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the quick guide on changing FOV, I'll definitely take a look at it.

Oh btw, do you know how to fix the game not launching with FrostyMM when adding or removing mods? Kind of a workaround is to delete ModData folder but it's annoying to say the least when testing mods.

Hey, I don't know why numbers are so low, a must have mode in my opinion, but don't let it dicourage you, people are taking notice!
I actually learnd about this mod when I read about it in russian gaming news)) Can't wait to try out new version
Thank you again, I really appreciate all your hard work!

Are you sure you uploaded the correct project file? I have version 1.3 25-January-2019 12:11.
In DA3/DesignContent/Cameras/Exploration/Basic/Rigs/SPExplore_RigB I only see two controllers:
      - ThirdPersonGameCameraControllerData
      - ScreenShakeControllerData

I was looking for a good rpg with first person, and i came across your mod so i bought the game just for the mod xD, its amazing, just few bugs when using the Twin Fangs ability, also, is it possible to get this to work using a controller ? Like, the first person view is already activated, or something ? I struggle a LOT with the keyboard/mouse on this game x)
