I'm having some issues with this mod, specifically Male Volume 2, as it keeps breaking the stubble and the eye colour slider at the character generator menu at the start. Might have to try adding it later after I get access to the Black Emporium.
I've been trying to get the 6th pack to work for a few days.. no luck. I go to the BE and all that shows up is the vanilla hairs. I have both the erf file and the chargenmorph in my override folder. anyone have a clue what im missing? :(
If anyone would like to add these hairs to elf morphs without using the pre-selections in KS Hairs for Companions that use Ellise's unique textures, here is the full list of hairs that are packed in the KS Elven Edition:
Elf female: Blossom Story Cameron Dreadlocks Foam Summer Hello Kamill (listed for both Ellise's and for Original Brown Merrill in KS Hairs for Companions) Lilac Fog Lucky Star Only You Papaya Princess Sakura Say Forever Sky 293 Slowly (listed for both Ellise's and for Original Brown Merrill in KS Hairs for Companions) Soundwave Sunset Glow Synthesis
Elf male (all are listed for Ellise's Fenris in KS Hairs for Companions; there is also a Fenris Macho that uses the main file, not KS Elven Edition): Bittersweet Blackout Djinn Faux Footprint Joshua Rough Sketch
The file name for elf female is ef_har_HAIRNAME, and for elf male em_har_HAIRNAME. There are no spaces, so Lilac Fog would be ef_har_lilacfog, for example.
I love your hairstyles!!! Without them it is impossible to create a beautiful character. A huge heartfelt thank you, now both boys and girls look stunningly gorgeous thanks to you! Happiness to you!
I managed to figure out how to get this working (apologies for being mod-illiterate). I'm loving this mod. There are so many hairstyles to choose from. Very impressed with the variety and textures. :)
I tried to follow the instructions but I don't know a ton about modding, so what do you mean/how do i use the changelog or chargen things?? It looks like it should be working based on the files alone but in cc it doesnt work.
Hello! I see you didn't receive an answer so I hope I can help you. The chargenmorph file is basically a "text" file that tells the game what CC elements to load in the character creator. There's normally one included in the download with all the hairs added on it, it's called chargenmorphcfg.xml and you put in the override folder with the rest of the mod files.
There can only be one such file in the override folder. So if you have several mods that add CC elements, you need to basically compile them into only one, either using a compiler (I don't use those so I can't help you with that) or by yourself manually merging them (by copy and pasting the necessary lines onto the correct file that's in your override). You can open the chargenmorph files with notepad. It sounds tedious but honestly it's pretty quick and easy to do! I think once you open the file and see the lines yourself you'll understand what I mean!

Because of this, the question arose: is it possible to adapt it to DAO?
