About this mod

Some improvements to the Orlesian Warden origin, like the ability to import a dead HoF's world state, and new Orlesian soundsets.

One minute your heroic Warden is sacrificing herself to end the Blight, the next she's.......running around Amaranthine.  *sigh*

This mod will allow you to import your Origins PC, and then make a new Orlesian Warden.

There will be some oddities with Codex entries.  The CharGen will also have quite a bit of weirdness (the game does NOT like you essentially resetting an established character!), namely:

-Your new character will appear to have your old character's body (and thus their head may be either floating or embedded depending on race changes).  Having a preset for your new character will help greatly, so you don't have to change facial settings.
-Your new character's face and arms may animate weirdly.
-Your new character will be in commoner clothing instead of armor.
-The character portrait will be the incorrect height.
-You will not be able to actually hear your new character's voice.

However, this WILL all go away once you exit the CC, I promise. :)

Optional Alternate Start:  If the original method is giving you trouble, or you just don't want to deal with the goofy CharGen, I've made an alternate method to edit your world state.  You will start the Orlesian Warden as in vanilla (by selecting 'Create New Character'), and after the opening cutscene is over, you will get a (different) "Warden's Tome" which will start a dialog where you set the choices your Hero of Ferelden made.
Please note that with this method, you will NOT be able to import properly into DA2 (into Golems or Witch Hunt should still work fine, however).

I have also added new Orlesian sound sets taken from DAI, one for each gender (general vibes:  "violent Andrastian" for him; "melodramatic assassin" for her); as well as changed the Orlesian starting armor to actual Warden armor.
These three main folders are independent of each other, so you can only install the parts you want.  :)

Requires either Grey Wardens of Ferelden or Thedosian Grey Wardens for the starting armors.

Will conflict with anything that also alters the following:

If you have the Velanna dialog edit from my Awakening Fixes and Tweaks, you should delete it (this mod does contain it).  The only other conflict I know of for sure is with sapphim's Anders Dialog Tweaks; my edits function similarly to the Non-Circle Mage fix version.  You can use her Anders files (any version) instead of mine, as long as the HoF wasn't from the Circle.  (there might be one weird line if the HoF was a Cousland)

Does not touch the party banter or random barks, and so is compatible with mods that change those.  :)  Should also be perfectly compatible with bugfixes, so long as they don't also edit the above (I don't know of any).

I'm pretty sure I finally caught all the dialog inconsistencies, but if you find any more, please let me know!  ;)
