Fine so far, but unfortunately it crashes in the unbalanced version on the final fight against the maykr. Randomly sometimes before i finish the makyr sometimes after it. Idk man, f*#@ up. Driver is on the newest version i dont get what the problem could be. Maybe because its not optimized for Rev 6.66 rev3?
it is updated and tested for 6.66 rev 3 so there shouldnt be any issues with the mod, maybe if you're using other mods they could be adding instability to your game even if they shouldnt directly conflict with the mod - it is a really bloated level file wise and i barely got it running stable just standalone and the game tends to bug out more with the more s#*! you inject into it.
alternatively though if you're using an nvidia card their recent drivers have apparently been giving alot of people stability issues so in that case you could potentially try reverting to older drivers (566.36 is the latest one generally considered stable apparently from some quick research)
thanks. Maybe i will try that. I didnt use any other mod with this one. After i inject the mod and check the files for corruption on steam. It says that 40-50 files are damaged. Hope this is normal lol
I played balanced version, I loved this mod! I loved having a very long level like this, with saves available. Going through old areas in an unexpected order, really is giving a new outlook on the map, and that was so refreshing. The super smart use of orange walls really gave a different shape to most of the areas I am very sued to. I loved the new gimmicks (Especially, sad in a roundabout way as to avoid spoilers, the invicibility stuff, and the freeze bomb moment, they were so fun and new) That red buff totem on a timer room was SO SMART And the music choice for this level and the CBT Atlantica level, they were SO GOOOD I was jamming out
And the new monster, especially the super tyrant, were so well utilized, they were always present at the perfect time, and making them give BFG ammo on death was so canny.
The last part of the final boss of CBT Atlantica was a bit too hard for me (though I loved the trial part of the boss), but the final boss of Unholy Urdak, with all the available checkpoints, was right the ammount of difficulty I could manage, that was an incredible feeling to finish the level properly.
Is there a place I can follow to be updated if you ever make a new level?
if i ever end up making another level itll most likely be a custom map level with idstudio for the mod portal, but i dont know if thats something im ever gonna do. id like to maybe at some point but i feel pretty dry on ideas at the moment and making a custom map thats actually good is a big undertaking which im not sure if id be able to pull off so im not super motivated to try at the moment especially given the time it would take learning how to do so and then actually doing it but im not gonna definitively say itll never happen
if that does happen however, then itd be on the mod portal assuming it doesnt give me any s#*! trying to upload it (like what im currently going through trying to port this and cbt atlantica to the mod portal) and maybe i would upload it here aswell and ask around in the modding servers for playtesting and post early versions in those servers
I'm not gonna lie this was probably the most grueling modded level experience i've ever had. Started off so strong, cool enemies and gimmicks, but oh my god... it just... it just goes on and on and on and 3 hours in i was just begging for it to be over with
yea honestly i originally didnt intend for it to be as long as it ended up being, initially the idea was just to use half of the holt and half of urdak + maybe celestial but i got carried away and ended up using pretty much the entirety of holt and urdaks areas. just be glad it saves your progress lol
What a fantastic mod! So many creative and unique challenges that go beyond killing millions of demons in monster closets. I've never seen anyone use the large outdoor spaces of Urdak for platforming and the ritual buff mechanic was probably my favourite part of the whole thing. I especially liked the gimmick encounter with the infinite ice bomb, very cool.
As far as raw combat goes, it's solid too. Maybe one or two marauders too much for my taste, but overall you managed to strike a good balance and used the arenas and enemies to a nice degree.

Such a fantastic level. Love the combat puzzle that are being presented here, as they make you think without being just bullet spongey encounters. The fight in the Seraphim room is one of my favorite fights in the entirety of doom eternal, mods included.
I completed unbalanced version, 11/10, incredibly cool master level (or maybe campaign, because there are 3 levels at once) It probably took me about 3-4 hours to complete this mod the new visuals (actually just changed sky domes) look good, the music for the level is well chosen, it very fits with the urdak/celestial/holt the only thing I didn't like is encounters where level takes away your chainsaw and sends a ton of flying demons at you (there are 3 in the whole mod, 2 in the holt and 1 in urdak), because I think they are too frustrating and unpleasant to play (I swear I don't have skill issue!!!) But it's not really a big disadvantage, considering that all the other encounters here are great and very creative
