About this mod

(CBT version has been discontinued (won't receive further updates)) An early in development overhaul for Hell on Earth, the finished release date is unknown. Will feature multiple new Custom AIs.

Work-in-progress Hell on Earth overhaul, start from a new save file. It's not recommended to use other mods alongside this one. Feel free to leave feedback for the Balanced version.

Known Issues (Spoilers):
-Standing still for too long while the turret in the ship is shooting will crash the game. This isn't an issue if you're just playing normally as it's over in 5 seconds, but if for whatever reason you need to go idle for a minute or so, don't do it there.
-After the fog encounter, the remaining demons might get bearer-buffed if not killed in time. This is very minor.
-When activating a Blood Swamps sac, all the others will activate afterwards, not sure why this happens.

Based on the Screecher
Features:
- Is about 50% slower than a normal Screecher.
- Does barely any damage itself.
- Starting from a certain distance, shoots fast projectiles which cause the Slayer to, for 4 seconds:
       -Take 25% more damage;
       -Deal 70% less damage;
       -Move 80% slower;
       -Recharge Dash 80% slower (doesn't work right now, will be fixed hopefully).
- Melee hits from the Infected cause the same 4 seconds debuffs.
- When the Slayer is really far away, shoots a different projectile which spawns a ground hazard for 25 seconds, and damages the same way as a Cyber Mancubus' puddle. A direct hit from the projectile is unlikely, but it would cause the Slayer to, for 8 seconds:
       -Take 35% more damage;
       -Deal 80% less damage;
       -Move 90% slower;
       -Disable Dash entirely (doesn't work right now, will be fixed hopefully).
- On death, spreads a random Mutator buff to all demons, all info regarding Mutators is in the linked page, with one difference: buffs which cause demons to be more resistant to a certain weapon have been changed to make them completely immune instead. Mutator behaviors are not hard-coded into the Infected, and as such their numbers/spawn time/buff types etc. can be modified at will if you know what you're doing.
- While Mutators are active, if other Infected demons are present in the arena, they will move 25% faster and will be immune to all damage until Mutator buffs are gone.

Codex entry:
"A few weeks after the disastrous outbreak on the now stranded UAC space
station, some of the personnel's corpses started rising up once again.
Seemingly unaware of the transfigured condition of their barely alive
bodìes, they mustered up the strenght to navigate the facility through
the Solar System until they crash-landed on Phobos, within an area
completely overrun by the forces of Hell. It didn't take long for the
demons to slaughter what remained of the crew, and in doing so, the
virus had now found hosts capable of resisting its deadly effects,
commencing its infectious journey across the demonic hordes. Dozens
became hundreds, eventually thousands.


And so, another never-ending cycle had just begun..."
