Jokes aside, this mod allows you to unequip weapon mods, allows you to unequip sniper scopes. The mods and scopes auto-retrieve on weapon sell, drop or disassemble.

Instead of that the gameplay as you expected.
The mods can be unequipped. The snipes scopes can be unequipped. The mods and scopes auto-retrieve when you disassemble, drop or sell a weapon. Selected by hand, no invisible mods or scopes will be retrieved.
"1 mod for a whole game? No, thank you. Retrievable and swappable weapon and clothing mods! Retrievable and swappable weapon and clothing mods! Retrievable and swappable weapon and clothing mods! Do clothing mods exist? They probably not. But if they do, we will retrieve and swap them with this mod!"
To disable auto-retrive functions you can delete these files:
