Woohoo, still working as advertised (at least for me it is), with game Update 2.1! \o/ ♥
Make sure any/all your dependencies/core mods are all updated to latest, even the core mods not related to this mod (if you use any of the other ones; ie. ArchiveXL, Codeware, cybercmd, CET, etc etc). Don't use and/or uninstall any mods that are not confirmed to be working with 2.1. If you use Vortex or MO2 and you've uninstalled any mods recently (or not working with 2.1), make sure you manually double-check to make sure no files are left over, which can cause errors (Vortex/MO2 are known to sometimes leave leftover files, after uninstalling some mods).
Doesn't work with Vortex. Likely some compatibility issues that are unknown. Not a slight against this mod, but keep in mind if you stumble onto issues, too.
I just did a complete/fresh reinstall (Steam) of my game (nuked all associated old folders+files; fresh re-downloads of all the mods I use; manual installs; no REDmod mods used).
Can confirm this mod is still working hella preem with 2.12a. ♥
Hi, just to say that I made it work with the game version 2.12a (21/03/2024) in a matter of minutes.
It was my first mod so I downloaded Vortex, the game manager for CP2077, the up-to-date required mods and then this mod with the "mod manager" install link. Vortex installs everything by itself. It was super smooth. Once everything was enabled in Vortex, I just started the game on my current save and everything worked great.
Thanks for this must-have mod, it makes the game so much more enjoyable ! Just being able to remove the mods is a game changer to customize your builds but the automatic unequip on disassembly/sell is the cherry on top.
So I tried to download this mod through Vortex and it can't figure out what kind of mod it is. I looked through the comments here for a fix for that and didn't find one so I tried downloading it manually but the mod does not work. Does anyone have any advice?
You (or Vortex, which sometimes happens) probably didn't install it correctly, ...or you didn't install the Requirements correctly, ...or you're having a mod(s) conflict(s), ...or your game version is not compatible with either this mod and/or the Requirements*
*=Note: FYI~ most (but not all) of the Requirement mods, aka core-mods (ie. ArchiveXL, Codeware, Cyber Engine Tweaks, etc etc), are usually only compatible with the latest version of the game.
I'm having the same issue. Fresh install of newest version of cyberpunk, have no issues with any other of my 12 mods and Vortex is saying it can't figure out what kind of mod it is.
An intresting thing, if you play for a long time, killing hundred of poor NPC, you might get a intresting "bug" that make you unable to open the Backpack, either it freezes and chucks you out back to "Inventory" or else the games crashes. Apparently the backpack cant take thousands of mods, scopes and muzzle! deleting them cause the issue to dissapear completely and actually improved less crashing/faster loading in general. I ran diffrent saves, with the same mods, and the one with a few K of spare part caused issues and didnt allow for the backpack to open. The one that i had deleteting most(kept like a few hundreds) didnt cause any problems at all.
To make it clear; This mod do NOT cause any issues at all and work perfectly, rather the large amount of spare mods, scopes and muzzle it produces can be a issue, so make sure to sell/disassembal regulary, i hade a hard time working out what the problem came from, checked diffrent mods that i had installed, it was "just" the amount of spare gear that caused it.
