Please make sure you've installed all of the requirements. You should be able to see each of them being loaded in "red4ext/logs/red4ext.log" (order does not matter): * Input Loader * Mod Settings (optional) * TweakXL * ArchiveXL * Let There Be Flight
For more information on the Cyberpunk 2077 startup process & the errors/crashes that may happen at each stage, see this flowchart.
If you're seeing "REDScript compilation failed", you may need to delete your "r6/cache" folder & re-verify your game files. If the error keeps happening, please upload your "r6/logs/redscript.log" to a website like pastebin.com and link in a comment/post. Do not expect the mod/game to work when this error happens.
Okay seeing people talk about getting the source code from github???? god i know nothing how to do that but please if there's anyone out there that knows the how to let's get this mod fixed, maybe there's still hope
Most recent version as of 5/17/2024 on nexusmods does not have a "Uninstall.bat" file so i have no idea how to uninstall this mod without doing a clean install of the game and wiping my entire game and reinstalling it all over again
Edit: this is a very cool mod, sad it doesnt work with patch 2.12, however i 1000% respect the effort you are putting into this mod, i can only imagine how challenge it is, much love!
The one on here Nexus only works on version 1.6ish of the game, and the one on his github kind of works with ver 2+ but still needs lots of work and bugs etc. Plus to make it even harder for him, game keeps getting micro updated which breaks things. The mod has few dependency's that all need to be updated for full release and he has shown activity on working on them. Here is his github and semi working versions https://github.com/jackhumbert/let_there_be_flight
this mod is finished it was the best mod available for this game as a cyberpunk game should have got the feature already but oh well its been nice using it but there is no incentive for the mod developer to come back
That doesn’t justify leaving us all with nothing to use, proper modders release the source or let other modders take the job, by letting your software rot what you are doing is showing what your real motivation was on the beginning, the same as the madqueen’s it seems…. as an IT HR who interviews people on a daily basis ill tell you, if you are applying for an it role and we realise you did something like this then our incentive is to not hire you. A software engineer NEVER abandon projects.
It would be nice if he let the code loose but you sound proper entitled my friend. He doesnt owe you me or anyone else a single thing. Im sure plenty of projects have been abandonded due to funding, time or viability. He was doing this for FREE remember. Paying the rent will always take priority. Why don't you make your own version of the mod and share that?
he doesnt owe anybody anything is a lazy cop out lol......he doesnt have to keep updating the mod no, but he doesnt have to be all shy and weird about it either, especially when others speak for him.... just say you dont feel like updating ever again and give out the source code, because everyone knows in the modding comm that people willlllll carry the mantel and this jabroni knows that too. im not mad at him for not updating, but delete the dang page if youre not coming back or ever plan to respond tooooo anyone,
It isn't lazy, its a fact that he doesnt owe you anything. I think you mean 'it's not what you want to hear' which is fine of course. You are all on here sounding very entitled. You don't know what happening with his life. Even if he did charge for the mod I doubt he would raise enough to pay the rent. I love games and modding but this is a luxury, not a human right. Chill out. Who says he doesn't intend to work on this in the future and it is his work which he effectivley owns. Why should he give it away? Apple don't give tech away they intend to use further down the line. They shelve it until its relevant to them again.
Also, I'd pay for it but like I said, I doubt I would even come close to him paying the rent

If you get the corrupted/missing script error or game crashes, please install CTD Helper and follow this guide to get appropriate information - you can upload this log to pastebin.com as well.
If you think you've encountered a bug, please check the issues on Github before making a comment about it.

can't any modder take its source code and try to update it? or it can't access it fully?
