If you're like me, you get bored driving the same vehicle all the time, and your huge vehicle collection goes unloved. Well, now there's a fix for that.

With this mod, every time you quick-call for a vehicle, your "current selected vehicle" will be swapped to a random one (from among the ones that you have marked as a Favorite) just before the summon happens, so the vehicle that shows up will be randomized.

If/when you want a specific vehicle, just long-call for one (press and hold until the menu appears) and you'll be able to call the specific vehicle you like. This will not be remembered and your quick-call will still be randomized. Or you can spam the quick-call button and summon lots of vehicles until the one you want shows up. Fun!

How to use:

This mod requires redscript.

Press and hold your vehicle button until your list of vehicles appears. Mark the ones you want to summon as Favorite, and the ones you don't want to summon as not Favorite.

From now on, any time you quick-call a vehicle, it'll be randomly selected from what you marked as Favorite. It's that easy.

To help you manage your Favorites, we'll review them for you when you quick-call as well:

• If you haven't marked any vehicles as Favorite, then the mod will mark all your vehicles as Favorite. After this happens, just quick-call again to summon something.
• When you load the game, a list of your vehicles is cached. When you quick-call, if a new vehicle is detected, it'll be marked as Favorite for you. (Once.)
  

Note: If you save and then load after acquiring a vehicle, but before quick-calling one, then the mod won't know about it and won't mark it Favorite. In that case you can mark it Favorite yourself (if you want to).

To revert to original behavior, uninstall or disable the mod. Long-call also works like original behavior.

Important Note about what will get summoned:

This mod does not unlock vehicles for you, so you can still experience the game as normal and acquire vehicles like normal. Or use some other mod or cheat method to unlock vehicles. This mod won't do that.

Also, this mod only summons vehicles you currently own and have marked as a Favorite, and not random other vehicles in the world. Sorry if you thought it did that.

So this mod isn't really doing anything you couldn't do yourself, it just puts a random effect on your vehicle summoning to help you more easily switch up your rides and break the monotony.

Ideas for future features:

• Automatically Favorite newly-added vehicles so you have to opt-out of randomization instead of opt-in for every vehicle. New in 2.1.01
• A "parade" function that you can bind to a key which will summon every favorited vehicle simultaneously.
• Regional flavor; option to prefer summoning vehicles which fit with your current location.
• Summon random vehicles that you wouldn't normally get to 'own' from any possible vehicle in Night City and have that be your ride of the moment.
• Detect which vehicles have already been summoned nearby and block those from getting summoned again.
  

I think these could all be done, sorted roughly in order of most to least confident that I could do it.

However, I made this mod for myself and I don't want or need any of these features (other than the challenge of programming them). So if there's anybody out there that wants these features (or any other feature ideas you can think of), let me know in the comments, otherwise I'll save myself the effort and just worry about bugs and conflicts with other mods. =P
